1For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch. (أم 4:18; إش 62:6)2The nations shall see your righteousness, and all the kings your glory, and you shall be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will give. (مز 98:2; إش 60:3; إش 60:14; رؤ 2:17; رؤ 3:12)3You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. (إش 54:11; زك 9:16)4You shall no more be termed Forsaken,[1] and your land shall no more be termed Desolate,[2] but you shall be called My Delight Is in Her,[3] and your land Married;[4] for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married. (إش 49:14; إش 54:1; إش 54:6; إش 54:7; إش 60:15; إش 62:2; هو 1:10; ملا 3:12; 1بط 2:10)5For as a young man marries a young woman, so shall your sons marry you, and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you. (إش 51:18; إش 65:19)6On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the Lord in remembrance, take no rest, (إش 52:8; إش 56:10)7and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes it a praise in the earth. (إش 60:18; إش 61:11; صف 3:20)8The Lord has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: “I will not again give your grain to be food for your enemies, and foreigners shall not drink your wine for which you have labored; (تث 28:33; إش 65:21; إر 5:17; عب 6:13)9but those who garner it shall eat it and praise the Lord, and those who gather it shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.”[5] (تث 12:12; تث 14:23; تث 14:26)10Go through, go through the gates; prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway; clear it of stones; lift up a signal over the peoples. (إش 11:10; إش 40:3; إش 49:22; إش 57:14)11Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, “Behold, your salvation comes; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.” (إش 40:10; زك 9:9; مت 21:5; يو 12:15)12And they shall be called The Holy People, The Redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken. (إش 61:4; إش 61:6; إش 62:4)
