Der Sieg Gottes

1 Ein Psalmlied Davids, vorzusingen. 2 Gott steht auf; so werden seine Feinde zerstreut, und die ihn hassen, fliehen vor ihm. (4Mo 10,35) 3 Wie Rauch verweht, so verwehen sie; wie Wachs zerschmilzt vor dem Feuer, so kommen die Frevler um vor Gott. 4 Die Gerechten aber freuen sich / und sind fröhlich vor Gott und freuen sich von Herzen. 5 Singet Gott, lobsinget seinem Namen! / Macht Bahn dem, der auf den Wolken einherfährt; er heißt HERR. Freuet euch vor ihm! (Jes 57,14) 6 Ein Vater der Waisen und ein Helfer der Witwen ist Gott in seiner heiligen Wohnung, (Ps 10,14) 7 ein Gott, der die Einsamen nach Hause bringt, / der die Gefangenen herausführt, dass es ihnen wohlgehe; aber die Abtrünnigen bleiben in dürrem Lande. 8 Gott, als du vor deinem Volk herzogst, als du einhergingst in der Wüste, – Sela – (2Mo 13,21) 9 da bebte die Erde, / und die Himmel troffen vor Gott – am Sinai –, vor Gott, dem Gott Israels. (2Mo 19,16) 10 Du gabst, Gott, Regen in Fülle, und dein Erbe, das dürre war, erquicktest du, 11 dass deine Tiere darin wohnen konnten. Gott, du labst die Elenden in deiner Güte. 12 Der Herr gibt ein Wort – der Freudenbotinnen ist eine große Schar –: (Jes 52,7) 13 Die Könige der Heerscharen fliehen, sie fliehen, und die Frauen teilen die Beute aus. 14 Wollt ihr zwischen den Hürden lagern? / Die Flügel der Tauben sind überzogen mit Silber, und ihre Schwingen schimmern von Gold. (Ri 5,16) 15 Als der Allmächtige dort Könige zerstreute, fiel Schnee auf dem Zalmon. 16 Ein Berg Gottes ist Baschans Gebirge, ein Gebirge, reich an Gipfeln, ist Baschans Gebirge. 17 Was seht ihr scheel, ihr Berge, ihr Gipfel, / auf den Berg, wo es Gott gefällt zu thronen? Ja, dort bleibt der HERR immerdar. (Ps 132,13) 18 Gottes Wagen sind vieltausendmal tausend; der Herr ist unter ihnen, der vom Sinai ist im Heiligtum. 19 Du bist aufgefahren zur Höhe und führtest Gefangne gefangen, du hast Gaben empfangen von Menschen – auch von Abtrünnigen –, auf dass Gott der HERR daselbst wohne. (Eph 4,8) 20 Gelobt sei der Herr täglich. Gott legt uns eine Last auf, aber er hilft uns auch^[1]. Sela. (1Kor 10,13) 21 Wir haben einen Gott, der da hilft, und den HERRN, einen Herrn, der vom Tode errettet. 22 Ja, Gott wird den Kopf seiner Feinde zerschmettern, den Schädel derer, die da fortfahren in ihrer Sünde. 23 Der Herr hat gesagt: Aus Baschan will ich sie wieder holen, aus der Tiefe des Meeres will ich sie holen, 24 dass du deinen Fuß im Blut der Feinde badest und deine Hunde es lecken. 25 Man sieht, Gott, wie du einherziehst, wie du, mein Gott und König, einherziehst im Heiligtum. (2Sam 6,13; Ps 24,7) 26 Die Sänger gehen voran, danach die Spielleute inmitten der Mädchen, die da Pauken schlagen. (2Mo 15,20) 27 »Lobet Gott in den Versammlungen, den HERRN, ihr vom Brunnen Israels.« (Jes 48,1) 28 Benjamin, der Jüngste, geht ihnen voran, / dann die Fürsten Judas mit ihren Scharen, die Fürsten Sebulons, die Fürsten Naftalis. 29 Biete auf, Gott, deine Macht, die Macht, Gott, die du an uns bewiesen hast 30 von deinem Tempel her; um Jerusalems willen werden dir Könige Geschenke bringen. (Ps 72,10) 31 Bedrohe das Tier im Schilf, die Rotte der Stiere unter den Kälbern, den Völkern, die da zertreten um des Silbers willen. Zerstreue die Völker, die gerne Krieg führen. 32 Aus Ägypten werden Gesandte kommen; Kusch wird seine Hände ausstrecken zu Gott. (Jes 18,7; Jes 19,21; Jes 45,14; Apg 8,27)

33 Ihr Königreiche auf Erden, singet Gott, lobsinget dem Herrn! Sela. 34 Er fährt einher durch die Himmel, die von Anbeginn sind. Siehe, er lässt seine Stimme erschallen, eine gewaltige Stimme. 35 Gebt Gott die Macht! Seine Herrlichkeit ist über Israel und seine Macht in den Wolken. 36 Zu fürchten bist du, Gott, in deinem Heiligtum. / Er ist Israels Gott. Er wird dem Volk Macht und Kraft geben. Gelobt sei Gott!

1 May God rise up and scatter his enemies. May they turn and run away from him. 2 May you, God, blow them away like smoke. As fire melts wax, so may God destroy sinful people. 3 But may those who do what is right be glad and filled with joy when they are with him. May they be happy and joyful. 4 Sing to God, sing praise to his name. Lift up a song to the God who rides on the clouds. Be glad when you are with him. His name is the LORD. 5 God is in his holy temple. He is a father to children whose fathers have died. He takes care of women whose husbands have died. 6 God gives lonely people a family. He sets prisoners free, and they go out singing. But those who refuse to obey him live in a land that is baked by the sun. 7 God, you led your people out. You marched through the desert. 8 The ground shook when you, the God of Sinai, appeared. The heavens poured down rain when you, the God of Israel, appeared. 9 God, you gave us plenty of rain. You renewed your worn-out land. 10 God, your people made their homes in it. From all your riches, you provided for those who were poor. 11 The Lord gives the message. The women who make it known are a huge group. 12 They said, ‘Kings and armies are running away. The women at home are dividing up the things the army took from their enemies. 13 Even while the soldiers sleep near the sheepfolds, God wins the battle for them. He gives the enemy’s silver and gold to Israel, his dove.’ 14 The Mighty One has scattered the kings around the land. It was like snow falling on Mount Zalmon. 15 Mount Bashan is a majestic mountain. Mount Bashan is a very rocky mountain. 16 Why are you jealous of Mount Zion, you rocky mountain? That’s where God chooses to rule. That’s where the LORD himself will live for ever. 17 God has come with tens of thousands of his chariots. He has come with thousands and thousands of them. The Lord has come from Mount Sinai. He has entered his holy place. 18 When he went up to his place on high, he took many prisoners. He received gifts from people, even from those who refused to obey him. The LORD God went up to live on Mount Zion. 19 Give praise to the Lord. Give praise to God our Saviour. He carries our heavy loads day after day. 20 Our God is a God who saves. He is the King and the LORD. He saves us from death. 21 God will certainly smash the heads of his enemies. He will break the hairy heads of those who keep on sinning. 22 The Lord says, ‘I will bring your enemies from Bashan. I will bring them up from the bottom of the sea. 23 Then your feet can wade in their blood. The tongues of your dogs can lick up all the blood they want.’ 24 God, those who worship you come marching into view. My God and King, those who follow you have entered the sacred tent. 25 The singers are walking in front. Next come the musicians. Young women playing tambourines are with them. 26 The leaders sing, ‘Praise God among all those who worship him. Praise the LORD in the community of Israel.’ 27 The little tribe of Benjamin leads the worshippers. Next comes the great crowd of Judah’s princes. Then come the princes of Zebulun and the princes of Naphtali. 28 God, show us your power. Show us your strength. God, do as you have done before. 29 Do it from your temple at Jerusalem, where kings will bring you gifts. 30 Give a strong warning to Egypt, that beast among the tall grass. It is like a herd of bulls among the calves. May that beast bow down before you with gifts of silver. Scatter the nations who like to make war. 31 Messengers will come from Egypt. The people of Cush will be quick to bring gifts to you. 32 Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth. Sing praise to the Lord. 33 He rides across the highest places in heaven. He rides across the ancient skies above. He thunders with his mighty voice. 34 Tell how powerful God is. He rules as king over Israel. The skies show how powerful he is. 35 How wonderful is God in his holy place! The God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Give praise to God!
