1Um Zions willen will ich nicht schweigen, und um Jerusalems willen will ich nicht innehalten, bis seine Gerechtigkeit aufgehe wie ein Glanz und sein Heil brenne wie eine Fackel,2dass die Völker sehen deine Gerechtigkeit und alle Könige deine Herrlichkeit. Und du sollst mit einem neuen Namen genannt werden, welchen des HERRN Mund nennen wird. (Jes 65,15; Offb 2,17)3Und du wirst sein eine schöne Krone in der Hand des HERRN und ein königlicher Reif in der Hand deines Gottes. (2Tim 4,8)4Man soll dich nicht mehr nennen »Verlassene« und dein Land nicht mehr »Einsame«, sondern du sollst heißen »Meine Lust« und dein Land »Liebe Frau«; denn der HERR hat Lust an dir, und dein Land hat einen lieben Mann. (Jes 54,6; Jes 60,15; Hos 2,21)5Denn wie ein junger Mann eine Jungfrau freit, so wird dich dein Erbauer freien, und wie sich ein Bräutigam freut über die Braut, so wird sich dein Gott über dich freuen.6O Jerusalem, ich habe Wächter über deine Mauern bestellt, die den ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht nicht mehr schweigen sollen. Die ihr den HERRN erinnern sollt, ohne euch Ruhe zu gönnen, (Jes 52,8)7lasst ihm keine Ruhe, bis er Jerusalem wieder aufrichte und es setze zum Lobpreis auf Erden!8Der HERR hat geschworen bei seiner Rechten und bei seinem starken Arm: Ich will dein Getreide nicht mehr deinen Feinden zu essen geben noch deinen Wein, mit dem du so viel Arbeit hattest, die Fremden trinken lassen, (Jes 65,21)9sondern die es einsammeln, sollen’s auch essen und den HERRN rühmen, und die ihn einbringen, sollen ihn trinken in den Vorhöfen meines Heiligtums.10Gehet ein, gehet ein durch die Tore! Bereitet dem Volk den Weg! Machet Bahn, machet Bahn, räumt die Steine hinweg! Richtet ein Zeichen auf für die Völker! (Jes 57,14)11Siehe, der HERR lässt es hören bis an die Enden der Erde: Sagt der Tochter Zion: Siehe, dein Heil kommt! Siehe, was er gewann, ist bei ihm, und was er sich erwarb, geht vor ihm her! (Jes 40,9; Sach 9,9)12Man wird sie nennen »Heiliges Volk«, »Erlöste des HERRN«, und dich wird man nennen »Gesuchte« und »Nicht mehr verlassene Stadt«. (Jes 35,10)
1The LORD says, ‘For the good of Zion I will not keep silent. For Jerusalem’s benefit I will not remain quiet. I will not keep silent until what I will do for them shines like the sunrise. I will not remain quiet until they are saved and shine like a blazing torch.2Jerusalem, the nations will see that I have made everything right for you. All their kings will see your glory. You will be called by a new name. I myself will give it to you.3You will be like a glorious crown in my strong hand. You will be like a royal crown in my powerful hand.4People will not call you Deserted anymore. They will no longer name your land Empty. Instead, you will be called One the LORD Delights In. Your land will be named Married One. That’s because the LORD will take delight in you. And your land will be married.5As a young man marries a young woman, so your Builder will marry you. As a groom is happy with his bride, so your God will be full of joy over you.’6Jerusalem, I have stationed guards on your walls. They must never be silent day or night. You who call out to the LORD must not give yourselves any rest.7And don’t give him any rest until he makes Jerusalem secure. Don’t give him any peace until people all over the earth praise that city.8The LORD has made a promise. He has lifted up his right hand and mighty arm. He has promised, ‘I will never give your corn to your enemies for food again. Outsiders will never again drink the fresh wine you have worked so hard for.9Instead, those who gather the corn will eat it themselves. And they will praise me. Those who gather grapes to make the wine will enjoy it. They will drink it in the courtyards of my temple.’10Go out through your gates, people of Jerusalem! Go out! Prepare the way for the rest of your people to return. Build up the road! Build it up! Remove the stones. Raise a banner over the city for the nations to see.11The LORD has announced a message from one end of the earth to the other. He has said, ‘Tell the people of Zion, “Look! Your Saviour is coming! He is bringing his people back as his reward. He has won the battle over their enemies.” ’12They will be called the Holy People. They will be called the People the LORD Set Free. And Jerusalem will be named the City the LORD Cares About. It will be named the City No Longer Deserted.
