1Der Geist aber sagt deutlich, dass in den letzten Zeiten einige von dem Glauben abfallen werden und verführerischen Geistern und Lehren von Dämonen anhängen, (Mt 24,24; 2Thess 2,3; 2Tim 3,1; 2Petr 3,3; 1Joh 2,18; Jud 1,18)2verleitet durch Heuchelei der Lügenredner, die ein Brandmal in ihrem Gewissen haben.3Sie gebieten, nicht zu heiraten und Speisen zu meiden, die Gott geschaffen hat, dass sie mit Danksagung empfangen werden von den Gläubigen und denen, die die Wahrheit erkannt haben. (1Mo 9,3; 1Kor 10,30; Kol 2,23)4Denn alles, was Gott geschaffen hat, ist gut, und nichts ist verwerflich, was mit Danksagung empfangen wird; (1Mo 1,31; Mt 15,11; Apg 10,15)5denn es wird geheiligt durch das Wort Gottes und Gebet.

6Wenn du die Brüder und Schwestern dies lehrst, so wirst du ein guter Diener Christi Jesu sein, genährt durch die Worte des Glaubens und der guten Lehre, der du gefolgt bist. (2Tim 2,15)7Die ungeistlichen Altweiberfabeln aber weise zurück; übe dich selbst aber in der Frömmigkeit! (1Tim 6,20; 2Tim 2,16; 2Tim 2,23; 2Tim 4,4; Tit 1,14; Tit 3,9)8Denn die leibliche Übung ist wenig nütze; aber die Frömmigkeit ist zu allen Dingen nütze und hat die Verheißung dieses und des zukünftigen Lebens. (1Tim 6,6)9Das ist gewisslich wahr und wert, dass man es beherzigt.10Denn dafür arbeiten und kämpfen wir, weil wir unsre Hoffnung auf den lebendigen Gott gesetzt haben, welcher ist der Heiland aller Menschen, besonders der Gläubigen.11Dies gebiete und lehre.12Niemand verachte dich wegen deiner Jugend; du aber sei den Gläubigen ein Vorbild im Wort, im Wandel, in der Liebe, im Glauben, in der Reinheit. (2Tim 2,22; Tit 2,15)13Fahre fort mit Vorlesen, mit Ermahnen, mit Lehren, bis ich komme.14Lass nicht außer Acht die Gabe in dir, die dir gegeben ist durch Weissagung mit Handauflegung des Rates der Ältesten. (Apg 6,6; Apg 8,17; 1Tim 1,18; 1Tim 5,22; 2Tim 1,6)15Dies lass deine Sorge sein, damit gehe um, auf dass dein Fortschreiten allen offenbar sei.16Hab acht auf dich selbst und auf die Lehre; beharre in diesen Stücken! Denn wenn du das tust, wirst du dich selbst retten und die, die dich hören. (Röm 11,14)

von Biblica1The Holy Spirit clearly says that in the last days some people will leave the faith. They will follow spirits that will fool them. They will believe things that demons will teach them.2Teachings like those come from liars who pretend to be what they are not. Their sense of what is right and wrong has been destroyed. It’s as though it has been burned with a hot iron.3They do not allow people to get married. They order them not to eat certain foods. But God created those foods. So people who believe and know the truth should receive them and give thanks for them.4Everything God created is good. You shouldn’t turn anything down. Instead, you should thank God for it.5The word of God and prayer make it holy.6Point out these things to the brothers and sisters. Then you will serve Christ Jesus well. You will show that you’ve grown in the truths of the faith. You will show that you’ve been trained by the good teaching you’ve obeyed.7Don’t have anything to do with godless stories and silly tales. Instead, train yourself to be godly.8Training the body has some value. But being godly has value in every way. It promises help for the life you are now living and the life to come.9This is the truth you can trust and accept completely.10This is why we work and try so hard. It’s because we have put our hope in the living God. He is the Saviour of all people. Most of all, he is the Saviour of those who believe.11Command and teach these things.12Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young. Set an example for the believers in what you say and in how you live. Also set an example in how you love and in what you believe. Show the believers how to be pure.13Until I come, spend your time reading Scripture out loud to one another. Spend your time preaching and teaching.14Don’t fail to use the gift the Holy Spirit gave you. He gave it to you through a prophecy from God. It was given when the elders placed their hands on you.15Keep on doing these things. Give them your complete attention. Then everyone will see how you are coming along.16Be careful of how you live and what you believe. Never give up. Then you will save yourself and those who hear you.
