Psalm 70

Lutherbibel 2017

Psalm 70

New International Reader’s Version

von Biblica
1 God, hurry and save me. LORD, come quickly and help me.2 Let those who are trying to kill me be put to shame. Let them not be honoured. Let all those who want to destroy me be turned back in shame.3 Some people make fun of me. Let them be turned back when their plans fail.4 But let all those who seek you be joyful and glad because of what you have done. Let those who want you to save them always say, ‘The LORD is great!’5 But I am poor and needy. God, come quickly to me. You are the God who helps me and saves me. LORD, please don’t wait any longer.

Psalm 70

English Standard Version

von Crossway
1 Make haste, O God, to deliver me! O LORD, make haste to help me! (Ps 40,13)2 Let them be put to shame and confusion who seek my life! Let them be turned back and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt!3 Let them turn back because of their shame who say, “Aha, Aha!”4 May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you! May those who love your salvation say evermore, “God is great!”5 But I am poor and needy; hasten to me, O God! You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay! (Ps 141,1)
