1 Ein Wallfahrtslied. Aus der Tiefe rufe ich, HERR, zu dir. / 2 Herr, höre meine Stimme! Lass deine Ohren merken auf die Stimme meines Flehens! 3 Wenn du, HERR, Sünden anrechnen willst – Herr, wer wird bestehen? 4 Denn bei dir ist die Vergebung, dass man dich fürchte. (Jes 55,7; Röm 6,1) 5 Ich harre des HERRN, meine Seele harret, und ich hoffe auf sein Wort. (Jes 21,11; Lk 12,35) 6 Meine Seele wartet auf den Herrn mehr als die Wächter auf den Morgen; mehr als die Wächter auf den Morgen 7 hoffe Israel auf den HERRN! Denn bei dem HERRN ist die Gnade und viel Erlösung bei ihm. 8 Und er wird Israel erlösen aus allen seinen Sünden. (Mt 1,21)

1 LORD, I cry out to you because I’m suffering so deeply. 2 Lord, listen to me. Pay attention to my cry for your mercy. 3 LORD, suppose you kept a close watch on sins. Lord, who then wouldn’t be found guilty? 4 But you forgive. So we can serve you with respect. 5 With all my heart I wait for the LORD to help me. I put my hope in his word. 6 I wait for the Lord to help me. I want his help more than night watchmen want the morning to come. I’ll say it again. I want his help more than night watchmen want the morning to come. 7 Israel, put your hope in the LORD, because the LORD’s love never fails. He sets his people completely free. 8 He himself will set Israel free from all their sins.

(2Chr 6,40; Ps 86,6; Ps 140,6) 3 If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? (Ps 76,7; Ps 90,8; Ps 143,2; Am 2,15; Nah 1,6; Mal 3,2; Eph 6,13; Offb 6,17) 4 But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared.
