Gottes ewiges Heil für Israel

1 Hört mir zu, die ihr der Gerechtigkeit nachjagt, die ihr den HERRN sucht: Schaut den Fels an, aus dem ihr gehauen seid, und des Brunnens Schacht, aus dem ihr gegraben seid. (5Mo 33,28; Jes 48,1) 2 Schaut Abraham an, euren Vater, und Sara, von der ihr geboren seid. Denn als einen Einzelnen berief ich ihn, um ihn zu segnen und zu mehren. (1Mo 12,1; Jes 41,8) 3 Ja, der HERR tröstet Zion, er tröstet alle ihre Trümmer und macht ihre Wüste wie Eden und ihr dürres Land wie den Garten des HERRN, dass man Wonne und Freude darin findet, Dank und Lobgesang. (1Mo 2,8) 4 Merke auf mich, mein Volk, hört mich, meine Leute! Denn Weisung wird von mir ausgehen, und mein Recht will ich gar bald zum Licht der Völker machen. 5 Denn meine Gerechtigkeit ist nahe, mein Heil tritt hervor, und meine Arme werden die Völker richten. Die Inseln harren auf mich und warten auf meinen Arm. (Jes 42,4) 6 Hebt eure Augen auf gen Himmel und schaut unten auf die Erde! Denn der Himmel wird wie ein Rauch vergehen und die Erde wie ein Kleid zerfallen, und die darauf wohnen, werden wie Mücken dahinsterben. Aber mein Heil bleibt ewiglich, und meine Gerechtigkeit wird nicht zerbrechen. (Ps 102,26; Mt 24,35) 7 Hört mir zu, die ihr die Gerechtigkeit kennt, du Volk, in dessen Herzen mein Gesetz ist! Fürchtet euch nicht, wenn euch die Leute schmähen, und entsetzt euch nicht, wenn sie euch verhöhnen! (Mt 5,11) 8 Denn die Motten werden sie fressen wie ein Kleid, und Würmer werden sie fressen wie ein wollenes Tuch. Aber meine Gerechtigkeit bleibt ewiglich und mein Heil für und für.

Israel ruft nach der Macht des Schöpfers

9 Wach auf, wach auf, zieh Macht an, du Arm des HERRN! Wach auf, wie vor alters zu Anbeginn der Welt! Warst du es nicht, der Rahab zerhauen und den Drachen durchbohrt hat? (Ps 89,11) 10 Warst du es nicht, der das Meer austrocknete, die Wasser der großen Tiefe, der den Grund des Meeres zum Wege machte, dass die Erlösten hindurchgingen? (2Mo 14,21) 11 So werden die Erlösten des HERRN heimkehren und nach Zion kommen mit Jauchzen, und ewige Freude wird auf ihrem Haupte sein. Wonne und Freude werden sie ergreifen, aber Trauern und Seufzen wird von ihnen fliehen. (Jes 35,10) 12 Ich, ich bin euer Tröster! Wer bist du denn, dass du dich vor Menschen fürchtest, die doch sterben, und vor Menschenkindern, die wie Gras vergehen, (Ps 56,5; Jes 40,1; Jes 40,6; Mt 10,28)

13 und vergisst den HERRN, der dich gemacht hat, der den Himmel ausgebreitet und die Erde gegründet hat, und fürchtest dich ständig den ganzen Tag vor dem Grimm des Bedrängers, der darauf aus ist, dich zu verderben? Wo ist denn der Grimm des Bedrängers? (Jes 44,24) 14 Der Gefangene wird eilends losgegeben, dass er nicht sterbe und begraben werde und dass er keinen Mangel an Brot habe. 15 Denn ich bin der HERR, dein Gott, der das Meer erregt, dass seine Wellen wüten – sein Name heißt HERR Zebaoth –; (Jer 31,35) 16 ich habe mein Wort in deinen Mund gelegt und habe dich unter dem Schatten meiner Hände geborgen, auf dass ich den Himmel von Neuem ausbreite und die Erde gründe und zu Zion spreche: Du bist mein Volk.

Gott weckt das erniedrigte Jerusalem

17 Werde wach, werde wach, steh auf, Jerusalem, die du getrunken hast von der Hand des HERRN den Kelch seines Grimmes! Den Taumelkelch hast du ausgetrunken, den Becher geleert. (Ps 60,5; Ps 75,9; Jer 13,12; Offb 16,19)

18 Es war niemand, der sie leitete, von allen Kindern, die sie geboren hat, niemand, der sie bei der Hand nahm, von allen Kindern, die sie aufgezogen hat. 19 Dies beides ist dir begegnet – wer trägt Leid um dich? –: Verwüstung und Schaden, Hunger und Schwert – wer tröstet dich? 20 Deine Kinder lagen verschmachtet auf allen Gassen wie ein Hirsch im Netz, getroffen vom Zorn des HERRN und vom Schelten deines Gottes. Du sollst ihn nicht mehr trinken, 23 sondern ich will ihn deinen Peinigern in die Hand geben, die zu dir sprachen: Wirf dich nieder, dass wir darüber hin gehen! Und du machtest deinen Rücken dem Erdboden gleich und wie eine Gasse, dass man darüber hin laufe. (Ps 129,3)
