1 Ein Psalmlied, vorzusingen, beim Saitenspiel. 2 Gott sei uns gnädig und segne uns, er lasse uns sein Antlitz leuchten, – Sela – (4Mo 6,24) 3 dass man auf Erden erkenne deinen Weg, unter allen Heiden dein Heil. 4 Es danken dir, Gott, die Völker, es danken dir alle Völker. 5 Die Völker freuen sich und jauchzen, dass du die Menschen recht richtest und regierst die Völker auf Erden. Sela. 6 Es danken dir, Gott, die Völker, es danken dir alle Völker. 7 Das Land gibt sein Gewächs; es segne uns Gott, unser Gott! (Ps 65,10) 8 Es segne uns Gott, und alle Welt fürchte ihn!

1 To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Psalm. A Song. May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, (4Mo 6,25; Ps 4,1; Ps 4,6) 2 that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations. (Ps 98,3; Lk 2,30; Apg 18,25; Tit 2,11) 3 Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! (Ps 22,27) 4 Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. (Ps 58,11) 5 Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! (Ps 67,3) 6 The earth has yielded its increase; God, our God, shall bless us. (3Mo 26,4; Ps 85,12; Hes 34,27; Hos 2,22) 7 God shall bless us; let all the ends of the earth fear him! (Ps 22,27)
