Und der Thron Gottes und des Lammes wird in der Stadt sein, und seine Knechte werden ihm dienen4und sein Angesicht sehen, und sein Name wird an ihren Stirnen sein. (Ps 11,7; Mt 5,8; Offb 3,12)5Und es wird keine Nacht mehr sein, und sie bedürfen nicht des Lichts einer Lampe und nicht des Lichts der Sonne; denn Gott der Herr wird über ihnen leuchten, und sie werden regieren von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit. Der Herr kommt
6Und er sprach zu mir: Diese Worte sind gewiss und wahrhaftig; und der Herr, der Gott der Geister der Propheten, hat seinen Engel gesandt, zu zeigen seinen Knechten, was bald geschehen muss. (Offb 1,1; Offb 1,4)7Siehe, ich komme bald. Selig ist, der die Worte der Weissagung in diesem Buch bewahrt.8Und ich, Johannes, bin es, der dies gehört und gesehen hat. Und als ich’s gehört und gesehen hatte, fiel ich nieder, um anzubeten zu den Füßen des Engels, der mir dies zeigte.9Und er spricht zu mir: Tu es nicht! Ich bin dein Mitknecht und der Mitknecht deiner Brüder, der Propheten, und derer, die bewahren die Worte dieses Buches. Bete Gott an! (Offb 19,10)10Und er spricht zu mir: Versiegle nicht die Worte der Weissagung in diesem Buch; denn die Zeit ist nahe! (Offb 1,3; Offb 10,4)11Wer Böses tut, der tue weiterhin Böses, und wer unrein ist, der sei weiterhin unrein; aber wer gerecht ist, der übe weiterhin Gerechtigkeit, und wer heilig ist, der sei weiterhin heilig. (Dan 12,10)12Siehe, ich komme bald und mein Lohn mit mir, einem jeden zu geben, wie sein Werk ist. (Offb 2,23)13Ich bin das A und das O, der Erste und der Letzte, der Anfang und das Ende. (Hebr 13,8; Offb 1,8; Offb 1,17; Offb 21,6)14Selig sind, die ihre Kleider waschen, dass sie Zugang haben zum Baum des Lebens und zu den Toren hineingehen in die Stadt. (Ps 118,19; Offb 2,7; Offb 7,14)15Draußen sind die Hunde und die Zauberer und die Hurer und die Mörder und die Götzendiener und alle, die die Lüge lieben und tun. (1Kor 6,9; Offb 17,5; Offb 21,8; Offb 21,27)16Ich, Jesus, habe meinen Engel gesandt, euch dies zu bezeugen für die Gemeinden. Ich bin die Wurzel und das Geschlecht Davids, der helle Morgenstern. (4Mo 24,17; Offb 5,5)17Und der Geist und die Braut sprechen: Komm! Und wer es hört, der spreche: Komm! Und wen dürstet, der komme; wer da will, der nehme das Wasser des Lebens umsonst. (Jes 55,1; Joh 7,37; Offb 21,6)18Ich bezeuge allen, die da hören die Worte der Weissagung in diesem Buch: Wenn ihnen jemand etwas hinzufügt, so wird Gott ihm die Plagen zufügen, die in diesem Buch geschrieben stehen. (5Mo 4,2; 5Mo 29,19)19Und wenn jemand etwas wegnimmt von den Worten des Buchs dieser Weissagung, so wird Gott ihm seinen Anteil wegnehmen am Baum des Lebens und an der heiligen Stadt, von denen in diesem Buch geschrieben steht.20Es spricht, der dies bezeugt: Ja, ich komme bald. – Amen, komm, Herr Jesus! (1Kor 16,22)21Die Gnade des Herrn Jesus sei mit allen!

Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” (Offb 1,3; Offb 3,11; Offb 22,12; Offb 22,20)8I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me, (Offb 1,1; Offb 1,4; Offb 1,9; Offb 19,10)9but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.” (Offb 22,6; Offb 22,8)10And he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. (Offb 10,4)11Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.” (Hes 3,27; Dan 12,10; 2Tim 3,13)12“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. (Jes 40,10; Jes 62,11; Mt 16,27; Offb 22,7; Offb 22,20)13I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” (Offb 1,8; Offb 1,17; Offb 21,6)14Blessed are those who wash their robes,[3] so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. (Ps 118,20; Offb 7,14; Offb 21,27; Offb 22,2; Offb 22,19)15Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. (Mt 8,12; Gal 5,19; Phil 3,2; Offb 21,8)16“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” (4Mo 24,17; Jes 60,3; Mt 1,1; Mt 2,2; Offb 1,1; Offb 1,4; Offb 2,28; Offb 5,5)17The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price. (Jes 55,1; Joh 7,37; Offb 21,2; Offb 21,6; Offb 21,9)18I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, (5Mo 4,2; 5Mo 12,32; Spr 30,6)19and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. (Offb 21,2; Offb 22,2; Offb 22,14)20He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
