Umkehr und Heilung
2Bekehre dich, Israel, zu dem HERRN, deinem Gott; denn du bist gestrauchelt durch deine Schuld. (Hos 12,7; Sach 1,4)3Nehmt diese Worte mit euch und bekehrt euch zum HERRN und sprecht zu ihm: Vergib uns alle Sünde und tu uns wohl, so wollen wir opfern die Frucht unserer Lippen. (Hebr 13,15)4Assur soll uns nicht helfen; wir wollen nicht mehr auf Rossen reiten, auch nicht mehr sagen zu dem Werk unserer Hände: Du bist unser Gott. Sondern bei dir finden die Verwaisten Erbarmen.5Ich will ihre Abtrünnigkeit heilen; gerne will ich sie lieben; denn mein Zorn hat sich von ihnen gewendet.6Ich will für Israel wie der Tau sein, dass es blüht wie eine Lilie und seine Wurzeln ausschlagen wie der Libanon7und seine Zweige sich ausbreiten, dass es so schön sei wie ein Ölbaum und so guten Geruch gebe wie der Libanon.8Und sie sollen wieder unter seinem Schatten sitzen; von Korn sollen sie sich nähren und sprossen wie der Weinstock, der berühmt ist wie der Wein vom Libanon.9Ephraim, was sollen ihm noch Götzen? Ich will ihn erhören und ihn anschauen. Ich will sein wie der üppige Wacholder. Von mir erhältst du deine Frucht.10Wer ist weise, dass er dies versteht, und klug, dass er dies einsieht? Die Wege des HERRN sind richtig und die Gerechten wandeln darauf; aber die Übertreter kommen auf ihnen zu Fall.
