(Hes 12,1)3Nimm aber ein klein wenig davon und binde es in deinen Mantelzipfel.4Und nimm noch einmal etwas davon und wirf’s ins Feuer und verbrenne es; davon soll ein Feuer ausbrechen über das ganze Haus Israel.

5So spricht Gott der HERR: Das ist Jerusalem, das ich mitten unter die Völker gesetzt habe und unter die Länder ringsumher!6Aber es widersprach meinen Ordnungen und trieb es schlimmer als die Völker und war gegen meine Gebote ungehorsamer als die Länder, die ringsumher liegen. Denn sie verwarfen meine Ordnungen und wollten nicht nach meinen Geboten leben.7Darum, so spricht Gott der HERR: Weil ihr es schlimmer getrieben habt als die Völker, die um euch her sind, und nach meinen Geboten nicht gelebt und meine Ordnungen nicht gehalten habt und nicht einmal nach den Ordnungen der Völker gelebt habt, die um euch her sind,8darum, so spricht Gott der HERR: Siehe, auch ich will an dich und Gericht über dich ergehen lassen vor den Augen der Völker,9und will so mit dir umgehen, wie ich es nie getan habe und auch nicht mehr tun werde, um aller deiner Gräuel willen.10Darum sollen in deiner Mitte Väter ihre Kinder und Kinder ihre Väter fressen; und ich will solches Gericht über dich ergehen lassen, dass alle, die von dir übrig geblieben sind, in alle Winde zerstreut werden. (5Mo 28,53)11Darum, so wahr ich lebe, spricht Gott der HERR: Weil du mein Heiligtum mit all deinen Götzen und Gräueln unrein gemacht hast, will auch ich dich zerschlagen, und mein Auge soll ohne Mitleid auf dich blicken, und ich will nicht gnädig sein. (5Mo 13,9; Hes 7,4; Hes 8,7)12Es soll ein Drittel von dir an der Pest sterben und durch Hunger vernichtet werden in deiner Mitte, und das zweite Drittel soll durchs Schwert fallen rings um dich her, und das letzte Drittel will ich in alle Winde zerstreuen und will hinter ihnen her das Schwert ziehen. (Hes 2,1)13So soll mein Zorn vollendet werden und mein Grimm über sie zum Ziel kommen, dass ich meinen Mut kühle, und sie sollen erfahren, dass ich, der HERR, es in meinem Eifer geredet habe, wenn ich meinen Grimm an ihnen vollende. (Hes 16,42)14Ich will dich zur Wüste und zur Schmach machen unter den Völkern, die um dich her sind, vor den Augen aller, die vorübergehen. (5Mo 28,37; Jer 24,9)15Und du sollst zur Schmach, zum Hohn, zur Warnung und zum Entsetzen werden für alle Völker, die um dich her sind, wenn ich über dich Gericht ergehen lasse mit Zorn, Grimm und zornigem Schelten – das sage ich, der HERR –16und wenn ich die bösen Pfeile des Hungers unter euch schießen werde, die Verderben bringen und die ich schießen werde, um euch zu verderben, und wenn ich den Hunger bei euch immer größer werden lasse und euch den Vorrat an Brot wegnehme. (5Mo 32,23; Hes 4,16)17Ja, Hunger und wilde Tiere will ich unter euch schicken, die sollen euch kinderlos machen, und es soll Pest und Blutvergießen bei dir umgehen, und ich will das Schwert über dich bringen. And I will execute judgments[2] in your midst in the sight of the nations.
