Gericht über die Nachbarn Judas

1 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir: 2 Du Menschenkind, richte dein Angesicht gegen die Ammoniter und weissage gegen sie (Jer 49,1; Hes 21,33; Am 1,13) 3 und sprich zu den Ammonitern: Hört das Wort Gottes des HERRN! So spricht Gott der HERR: Weil ihr über mein Heiligtum ruft: »Ha! Es ist entweiht!«, und über das Land Israels: »Es ist verwüstet!«, und über das Haus Juda: »Es ist weggeführt!«, (Kla 2,16; Hes 36,2) 4 darum siehe, ich will dich den Söhnen des Ostens übergeben, dass sie ihre Zeltdörfer in dir aufschlagen und ihre Wohnungen in dir bauen sollen; sie sollen deine Früchte essen und deine Milch trinken. 5 Und ich will Rabba zur Kameltrift machen und das Land der Ammoniter zu Schafhürden, und ihr sollt erfahren, dass ich der HERR bin. 6 Denn so spricht Gott der HERR: Weil du in die Hände geklatscht und mit den Füßen gestampft und über das Land Israels von ganzem Herzen so höhnisch dich gefreut hast, 7 darum siehe, ich will meine Hand gegen dich ausstrecken und dich den Völkern zur Beute geben und dich aus den Nationen ausrotten und aus den Ländern austilgen und dich vernichten; und du sollst erfahren, dass ich der HERR bin. 8 So spricht Gott der HERR: Weil Moab und Seïr sprechen: »Siehe, das Haus Juda ist nichts anderes als alle Völker!«, (Jes 15,1; Jes 16,1; Jer 48,1) 9 siehe, so will ich die Berghänge Moabs bloßlegen, dass es ohne Städte sei in seinem ganzen Gebiet, ohne den Stolz des Landes: Bet-Jeschimot, Baal-Meon und Kirjatajim, 10 und will es den Söhnen des Ostens zum Erbe geben, zum Land der Ammoniter hinzu, sodass man der Ammoniter nicht mehr gedenken wird unter den Völkern. 11 Und ich will das Gericht ergehen lassen über Moab, und sie sollen erfahren, dass ich der HERR bin. 12 So spricht Gott der HERR: Weil sich Edom am Hause Juda gerächt und sich schwer verschuldet hat mit seiner Rache, (Ps 137,7; Jer 49,7; Hes 35,1; Am 1,11; Ob 1,1)

13 darum, so spricht Gott der HERR: Ich will meine Hand ausstrecken gegen Edom und will von ihm ausrotten Menschen und Vieh und will es wüst machen von Teman bis nach Dedan, und sie sollen durchs Schwert fallen. 14 Und ich will mich an Edom rächen durch mein Volk Israel, und sie sollen mit Edom umgehen nach meinem Zorn und Grimm, dass sie meine Vergeltung erfahren sollen, spricht Gott der HERR. 15 So spricht Gott der HERR: Weil die Philister sich gerächt und mit beständigem Hass so höhnisch Rache geübt haben, um mein Volk zu verderben in ewiger Feindschaft, (Jes 14,29; Jer 47,1; Am 1,6; Zef 2,4)

16 darum, so spricht Gott der HERR: Siehe, ich will meine Hand ausstrecken gegen die Philister und will die Kreter ausrotten und will umbringen, die übrig geblieben sind am Ufer des Meeres, 17 und will bittere Rache an ihnen üben und sie mit Grimm strafen, dass sie erfahren sollen, dass ich der HERR bin, wenn ich Vergeltung an ihnen übe.

Prophecy Against Ammon

1 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, set your face toward the Ammonites and prophesy against them. (Jer 49,1; Hes 2,1; Hes 6,2; Hes 21,20; Hes 21,28)

3 Say to the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord God: Thus says the Lord God, Because you said, ‘Aha!’ over my sanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and over the house of Judah when they went into exile, (Hes 2,4; Hes 3,11; Hes 3,27; Hes 7,22; Hes 26,2; Hes 36,2)

4 therefore behold, I am handing you over to the people of the East for a possession, and they shall set their encampments among you and make their dwellings in your midst. 7 therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand against you, and will hand you over as plunder to the nations. And I will cut you off from the peoples and will make you perish out of the countries; I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am the Lord. (Hes 6,14; Hes 7,21; Hes 25,4)

8 “Thus says the Lord God: Because Moab and Seir^[2] said, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the other nations,’ (Jes 15,1; Jer 25,17; Jer 48,1; Hes 25,12)

10 I will give it along with the Ammonites to the people of the East as a possession, that the Ammonites may be remembered no more among the nations, (Hes 21,32; Hes 25,2; Hes 25,4) 11 and I will execute judgments upon Moab. Then they will know that I am the Lord. (Hes 6,7; Hes 25,8)

15 “Thus says the Lord God: Because the Philistines acted revengefully and took vengeance with malice of soul to destroy in never-ending enmity, (Jes 14,29; Jer 25,20; Jer 47,1; Hes 25,6; Hes 25,12; Hes 36,5; Joe 3,4; Am 1,6; Zef 2,4)

16 therefore thus says the Lord God, Behold, I will stretch out my hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites and destroy the rest of the seacoast. (1Sam 30,14; Hes 25,13) 17 I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I lay my vengeance upon them.” (Hes 5,15; Hes 25,14)
