1 Die Wohnung sollst du machen aus zehn Teppichen von gezwirntem feinem Leinen, von blauem und rotem Purpur und von Karmesin. Cherubim sollst du einweben, wie es ein Kunstweber macht. (2Mo 36,8) 2 Die Länge eines Teppichs soll achtundzwanzig Ellen sein, die Breite vier Ellen, und sie sollen alle zehn dasselbe Maß haben; 3 und es sollen je fünf zu einer Bahn zusammengefügt werden, einer an den andern. 4 Und du sollst Schlaufen machen von blauem Purpur an beiden Bahnen an dem Rand, an dem sie zusammengeheftet werden, 5 fünfzig Schlaufen an jeder Bahn, dass eine Schlaufe der andern gegenüberstehe. 6 Und du sollst fünfzig goldene Haken machen und die Teppiche verbinden, einen mit dem andern, auf dass die Wohnung ein Ganzes sei. 7 Du sollst auch Teppiche aus Ziegenhaar machen als Zelt über der Wohnung, elf Teppiche. 8 Die Länge eines Teppichs soll dreißig Ellen sein, die Breite aber vier Ellen, und sie sollen alle elf dasselbe Maß haben. 9 Fünf sollst du aneinanderfügen und die sechs andern auch, und den sechsten Teppich sollst du vorn an dem Zelt doppelt legen; 10 und sollst an beiden Bahnen fünfzig Schlaufen machen an dem Rand, an dem sie zusammengeheftet werden. 11 Und du sollst fünfzig Haken aus Bronze machen und die Haken in die Schlaufen tun, damit das Zelt zusammengefügt werde und ein Ganzes sei. 12 Aber vom Überhang der Teppiche des Zeltes sollst du einen halben Teppich hinten an der Wohnung überhängen lassen 13 und auf beiden Seiten je eine Elle, dass der Überhang der Zeltteppiche an beiden Seiten der Wohnung herabhänge und sie bedecke. 14 Über die Decke des Zeltes sollst du eine Decke von rot gefärbten Widderfellen machen und darüber noch eine Decke von feinem Leder. 15 Du sollst auch Bretter machen für die Wohnung, aus Akazienholz, zum Aufstellen; 16 zehn Ellen lang soll ein Brett sein und anderthalb Ellen breit. 17 Zwei Zapfen soll ein Brett haben, dass eins an das andere gesetzt werden könne. So sollst du alle Bretter der Wohnung machen. 18 Zwanzig von ihnen sollen nach Süden stehen. 19 Vierzig silberne Füße sollst du machen unter den zwanzig Brettern, je zwei Füße unter jedem Brett für seine zwei Zapfen. 20 Ebenso sollen auf der andern Seite, nach Norden, auch zwanzig Bretter stehen 21 mit vierzig silbernen Füßen, je zwei Füße unter jedem Brett. 22 Und für die Rückseite der Wohnung nach Westen sollst du sechs Bretter machen; 23 dazu zwei Bretter für die zwei Ecken an der Rückseite der Wohnung, 24 dass beide mit ihren Eckbrettern unten und oben verbunden sind und so die Ecken bilden. 25 Acht Bretter sollen es sein mit ihren silbernen Füßen; sechzehn Füße sollen es sein, je zwei unter einem Brett. 26 Und du sollst Riegel machen aus Akazienholz, fünf zu den Brettern auf der einen Langseite der Wohnung 27 und fünf zu den Brettern auf der anderen Langseite der Wohnung und fünf zu den Brettern auf der Rückseite der Wohnung nach Westen, 28 und sollst einen Mittelriegel in halber Höhe an den Brettern entlanglaufen lassen von einem Ende zu dem andern. 29 Und du sollst die Bretter mit Gold überziehen und ihre Ringe aus Gold machen, in die man die Riegel hineintut. Und die Riegel sollst du mit Gold überziehen. 30 So sollst du die Wohnung in der Weise aufrichten, wie du sie auf dem Berge gesehen hast. (2Mo 25,9) 31 Du sollst einen Vorhang machen aus blauem und rotem Purpur, Karmesin und gezwirntem feinem Leinen und sollst Cherubim einweben in kunstreicher Arbeit (2Chr 3,14) 32 und sollst ihn aufhängen an vier Säulen von Akazienholz, die mit Gold überzogen sind und goldene Nägel und vier silberne Füße haben. 33 Und du sollst den Vorhang an die Haken hängen und die Lade mit dem Gesetz hinter den Vorhang setzen, dass er euch eine Scheidewand sei zwischen dem Heiligen und dem Allerheiligsten. (Mt 27,51; Hebr 9,3) 34 Und du sollst den Gnadenstuhl auf die Lade mit dem Gesetz tun, die im Allerheiligsten steht. (2Mo 25,21) 35 Den Tisch aber setze außen vor den Vorhang und den Leuchter dem Tisch gegenüber an die Südseite in der Wohnung, dass der Tisch nach Norden zu steht. (2Mo 25,23; 2Mo 40,22) 36 Und du sollst eine Decke machen für den Eingang des Zeltes, bunt gewebt aus blauem und rotem Purpur, Karmesin und gezwirntem feinem Leinen 37 und für die Decke fünf Säulen aus Akazienholz, mit Gold überzogen, mit goldenen Nägeln, und sollst für sie fünf Füße aus Bronze gießen.

2 The length of each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits,^[1] and the breadth of each curtain four cubits; all the curtains shall be the same size. 3 Five curtains shall be coupled to one another, and the other five curtains shall be coupled to one another. 4 And you shall make loops of blue on the edge of the outermost curtain in the first set. Likewise you shall make loops on the edge of the outermost curtain in the second set. 5 Fifty loops you shall make on the one curtain, and fifty loops you shall make on the edge of the curtain that is in the second set; the loops shall be opposite one another. 6 And you shall make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains one to the other with the clasps, so that the tabernacle may be a single whole. 7 “You shall also make curtains of goats’ hair for a tent over the tabernacle; eleven curtains shall you make. (2Mo 36,14) 8 The length of each curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits. The eleven curtains shall be the same size. 9 You shall couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and the sixth curtain you shall double over at the front of the tent. 10 You shall make fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in one set, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in the second set. 11 “You shall make fifty clasps of bronze, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together that it may be a single whole. 12 And the part that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the back of the tabernacle. 13 And the extra that remains in the length of the curtains, the cubit on the one side, and the cubit on the other side, shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle, on this side and that side, to cover it. 14 And you shall make for the tent a covering of tanned rams’ skins^[2] and a covering of goatskins on top. (2Mo 25,5; 2Mo 36,19) 15 “You shall make upright frames for the tabernacle of acacia wood. 16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a frame, and a cubit and a half the breadth of each frame. 17 There shall be two tenons in each frame, for fitting together. So shall you do for all the frames of the tabernacle. 18 You shall make the frames for the tabernacle: twenty frames for the south side; 19 and forty bases of silver you shall make under the twenty frames, two bases under one frame for its two tenons, and two bases under the next frame for its two tenons; 20 and for the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side twenty frames, 21 and their forty bases of silver, two bases under one frame, and two bases under the next frame. 22 And for the rear of the tabernacle westward you shall make six frames. 23 And you shall make two frames for corners of the tabernacle in the rear; 24 they shall be separate beneath, but joined at the top, at the first ring. Thus shall it be with both of them; they shall form the two corners. 25 And there shall be eight frames, with their bases of silver, sixteen bases; two bases under one frame, and two bases under another frame. 26 “You shall make bars of acacia wood, five for the frames of the one side of the tabernacle, 27 and five bars for the frames of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the frames of the side of the tabernacle at the rear westward. 28 The middle bar, halfway up the frames, shall run from end to end. 29 You shall overlay the frames with gold and shall make their rings of gold for holders for the bars, and you shall overlay the bars with gold. (2Mo 25,27) 30 Then you shall erect the tabernacle according to the plan for it that you were shown on the mountain. 32 And you shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold, with hooks of gold, on four bases of silver. 33 And you shall hang the veil from the clasps, and bring the ark of the testimony in there within the veil. 37 And you shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia, and overlay them with gold. Their hooks shall be of gold, and you shall cast five bases of bronze for them.

that the loops may take hold one of another. 6 And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle. 7 And thou shalt make curtains of goats'hair to be a covering upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains shalt thou make. 8 The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure. 9 And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle. 10 And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second. 11 And thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one. 12 And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle. 13 And a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it. 14 And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams'skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers'skins. 15 And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up. 16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half shall be the breadth of one board. 17 Two tenons shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle. 18 And thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side southward. 19 And thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons. 20 And for the second side of the tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards: 21 And their forty sockets of silver; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle, 27 And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the two sides westward. 28 And the middle bar in the midst of the boards shall reach from end to end. 29 And thou shalt overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and thou shalt overlay the bars with gold. 30 And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount. 31 And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made: 32 And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver. 33 And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy. 34 And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place . 35 And thou shalt set the table without the vail, and the candlestick over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and thou shalt put the table on the north side. 36 And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework. 37 And thou shalt make for the hanging five pillars of shittim wood , and overlay them with gold, and their hooks shall be of gold: and thou shalt cast five sockets of brass for them.
