1Le Seigneur sut que les pharisiens avaient appris qu'il faisait et baptisait plus de disciples que Jean.2Toutefois Jésus ne baptisait pas lui-même, mais c'étaient ses disciples.3Alors il quitta la Judée, et retourna en Galilée.4Comme il fallait qu'il passât par la Samarie,5il arriva dans une ville de Samarie, nommée Sychar, près du champ que Jacob avait donné à Joseph, son fils.6Là se trouvait le puits de Jacob. Jésus, fatigué du voyage, était assis au bord du puits. C'était environ la sixième heure.7Une femme de Samarie vint puiser de l'eau. Voici, je vous le dis, levez les yeux, et regardez les champs qui déjà blanchissent pour la moisson.36Celui qui moissonne reçoit un salaire, et amasse des fruits pour la vie éternelle, afin que celui qui sème et celui qui moissonne se réjouissent ensemble.37Car en ceci ce qu'on dit est vrai: Autre est celui qui sème, et autre celui qui moissonne.38Je vous ai envoyés moissonner ce que vous n'avez pas travaillé; d'autres ont travaillé, et vous êtes entrés dans leur travail.39Plusieurs Samaritains de cette ville crurent en Jésus à cause de cette déclaration formelle de la femme: Il m'a dit tout ce que j'ai fait.40Aussi, quand les Samaritains vinrent le trouver, ils le prièrent de rester auprès d'eux. Et il resta là deux jours.41Un beaucoup plus grand nombre crurent à cause de sa parole;42et ils disaient à la femme: Ce n'est plus à cause de ce que tu as dit que nous croyons; car nous l'avons entendu nous-mêmes, et nous savons qu'il est vraiment le Sauveur du monde.43Après ces deux jours, Jésus partit de là, pour se rendre en Galilée;44car il avait déclaré lui-même qu'un prophète n'est pas honoré dans sa propre patrie.45Lorsqu'il arriva en Galilée, il fut bien reçu des Galiléens, qui avaient vu tout ce qu'il avait fait à Jérusalem pendant la fête; car eux aussi étaient allés à la fête.46Il retourna donc à Cana en Galilée, où il avait changé l'eau en vin. Il y avait à Capernaüm un officier du roi, dont le fils était malade.47Ayant appris que Jésus était venu de Judée en Galilée, il alla vers lui, et le pria de descendre et de guérir son fils, qui était près de mourir.48Jésus lui dit: Si vous ne voyez des miracles et des prodiges, vous ne croyez point.49L'officier du roi lui dit: Seigneur, descends avant que mon enfant meure.50Va, lui dit Jésus, ton fils vit. Et cet homme crut à la parole que Jésus lui avait dite, et il s'en alla.51Comme déjà il descendait, ses serviteurs venant à sa rencontre, lui apportèrent cette nouvelle: Ton enfant vit.52Il leur demanda à quelle heure il s'était trouvé mieux; et ils lui dirent: Hier, à la septième heure, la fièvre l'a quitté.53Le père reconnut que c'était à cette heure-là que Jésus lui avait dit: Ton fils vit. Et il crut, lui et toute sa maison.54Jésus fit encore ce second miracle lorsqu'il fut venu de Judée en Galilée.

1Als nun der Herr erfuhr, dass die Pharisäer gehört hatten, dass Jesus mehr Jünger mache und taufe als Johannes (Jn 3:26)2— obwohl Jesus nicht selbst taufte, sondern seine Jünger —, (1Co 1:17)3da verließ er Judäa und zog wieder nach Galiläa.4Er musste aber durch Samaria reisen. (Lc 9:52)5Da kommt er in eine Stadt Samarias, genannt Sichar, nahe bei dem Feld, das Jakob seinem Sohn Joseph gab. (Gn 33:19; Gn 48:22; Jos 24:32)6Es war aber dort Jakobs Brunnen. Weil nun Jesus müde war von der Reise, setzte er sich so an den Brunnen; es war um die sechste Stunde. (He 4:15)7Da kommt eine Frau aus Samaria, um Wasser zu schöpfen. Jesus spricht zu ihr: Gib mir zu trinken! (Ps 50:12; Lc 9:58)8Denn seine Jünger waren in die Stadt gegangen, um Speise zu kaufen. (Dt 18:18)26Jesus spricht zu ihr: Ich bin’s, der mit dir redet! (Mt 11:25; Jn 9:37)27Unterdessen kamen seine Jünger und verwunderten sich, dass er mit einer Frau redete.[3] Doch sagte keiner: Was willst du? oder: Was redest du mit ihr?28Nun ließ die Frau ihren Wasserkrug stehen und lief in die Stadt und sprach zu den Leuten: (Jn 4:7)29Kommt, seht einen Menschen, der mir alles gesagt hat, was ich getan habe! Ob dieser nicht der Christus ist? (Jn 1:40; Jn 1:47)30Da gingen sie aus der Stadt hinaus und kamen zu ihm. (Jn 1:42)
Das weiße Erntefeld
31Inzwischen aber baten ihn die Jünger und sprachen: Rabbi, iss!32Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Ich habe eine Speise zu essen, die ihr nicht kennt! (Dt 8:3)33Da sprachen die Jünger zueinander: Hat ihm denn jemand zu essen gebracht?34Jesus spricht zu ihnen: Meine Speise ist die, dass ich den Willen dessen tue, der mich gesandt hat, und sein Werk vollbringe. (Ps 40:9; Lc 2:49; Jn 6:38; Jn 17:4)35Sagt ihr nicht: Es sind noch vier Monate, dann kommt die Ernte? Siehe, ich sage euch: Hebt eure Augen auf und seht die Felder an; sie sind schon weiß zur Ernte. (Ps 126:5; Mt 9:37; Mc 4:29; Ap 14:15)36Und wer erntet, der empfängt Lohn und sammelt Frucht zum ewigen Leben, damit sich der Sämann und der Schnitter miteinander freuen. (Ps 126:6; Da 12:3; Rm 6:22; 1Co 3:5; 1Co 9:10; Ph 2:14; 1Th 2:19)37Denn hier ist der Spruch wahr: Der eine sät, der andere erntet.38Ich habe euch ausgesandt zu ernten, woran ihr nicht gearbeitet habt; andere haben gearbeitet, und ihr seid in ihre Arbeit eingetreten. (Ac 8:14; 1P 1:12)
Der Glaube der Samariter
39Aus jener Stadt aber glaubten viele Samariter an ihn um des Wortes der Frau willen, die bezeugte: Er hat mir alles gesagt, was ich getan habe. (Jn 10:41; Jn 11:45)40Als nun die Samariter zu ihm kamen, baten sie ihn, bei ihnen zu bleiben; und er blieb zwei Tage dort. (Lc 9:52; Lc 10:33; Lc 17:16; Lc 24:29; Jn 4:9; Jn 8:48)41Und noch viel mehr Leute glaubten um seines Wortes willen.42Und zu der Frau sprachen sie: Nun glauben wir nicht mehr um deiner Rede willen; wir haben selbst gehört und erkannt, dass dieser wahrhaftig der Retter der Welt, der Christus ist! (Jn 3:2; Jn 6:69; Jn 17:8; 1Jn 4:14)
Jesus heilt den Sohn eines königlichen Beamten
43Nach den zwei Tagen aber zog er fort und ging nach Galiläa. (Jn 2:12)44Jesus selbst bezeugte zwar, dass ein Prophet in seinem eigenen Vaterland nicht geachtet wird. (Mt 13:57; Lc 4:24)45Als er aber nun nach Galiläa kam, nahmen ihn die Galiläer auf, weil sie alles gesehen hatten, was er während des Festes in Jerusalem getan hatte; denn auch sie waren zu dem Fest gekommen. (Dt 16:16; Jn 2:23)46Jesus kam nun wieder nach Kana in Galiläa, wo er das Wasser zu Wein gemacht hatte. Und da gab es einen königlichen Beamten, dessen Sohn lag krank in Kapernaum. (Jn 2:1)47Als dieser hörte, dass Jesus aus Judäa nach Galiläa gekommen sei, ging er zu ihm und bat ihn, er möchte herabkommen und seinen Sohn gesund machen; denn er lag im Sterben. Und sie sprachen zu ihm: Gestern um die siebte Stunde verließ ihn das Fieber.53Da erkannte der Vater, dass es eben in der Stunde geschehen war, in welcher Jesus zu ihm gesagt hatte: Dein Sohn lebt!
