(Isa 35:9)9[Der Mensch] streckt seine Hand nach dem Felsgestein aus, wühlt die Berge um von Grund auf. (Job 28:4)11Die Ströme hat er eingedämmt, damit sie nicht durchsickern, und er bringt das Verborgene hervor ans Licht. (Job 28:21; Pr 3:15; Isa 38:11)14Die Tiefe spricht: »Sie ist nicht in mir!«, und das Meer: »Sie ist nicht bei mir!« (Pr 8:17; Pr 8:35; Pr 17:20; 1Co 1:19)15Mit Feingold kann man sie nicht bezahlen, und Silber kann nicht als ihr Kaufpreis abgewogen werden. (Job 28:17; Pr 2:4; Pr 4:7)16Um Gold von Ophir ist sie nicht zu haben, auch nicht um köstlichen Onyxstein und Saphir. (Isa 13:12)17Gold und Glas kommt ihr nicht gleich, noch kann man sie eintauschen gegen ein goldenes Gerät. (Pr 3:13; Pr 8:10; Pr 8:19; Pr 16:16)18Korallen und Kristall gelten nichts gegen sie, und der Besitz der Weisheit geht über Perlen. (Pr 3:15; Eze 27:16; Mt 13:45; Re 21:21)19Der Topas aus Kusch ist ihr nicht zu vergleichen; mit reinem Gold wird sie nicht aufgewogen. (Ex 39:10; Job 28:17; Re 21:20)20Woher kommt denn nun die Weisheit, und wo ist die Fundstätte der Einsicht? (Job 28:12; Ec 7:23; 1Co 2:6; Jas 1:5)21Sie ist verborgen vor den Augen alles Lebendigen und vor den Vögeln des Himmels versteckt. (Job 28:7; Job 28:12; Ps 49:4; Col 2:3)22Der Abgrund und der Tod sprechen: »Wir haben mit unseren Ohren ein Gerücht von ihr gehört!« (Job 28:14)23Gott hat Einsicht in ihren Weg, und er kennt ihre Fundstätte. (Pr 2:6; Pr 8:14; 1Co 1:30; Col 2:3; Jud 1:25)24Denn Er schaut bis zu den Enden der Erde und sieht alles, was unter dem Himmel ist. (Ps 33:14; Pr 15:3; Zec 4:10; Re 5:6)25Als er dem Wind sein Gewicht gab und die Wasser abwog mit einem Maß, (Ps 135:7; Isa 40:12)26als er dem Regen sein Gesetz bestimmte und dem donnernden Unwetter seinen Weg: (Job 36:27; Job 36:32; Job 37:2; Job 38:25; Ps 135:7; Ps 148:8; Isa 40:12)27Da hat er sie gesehen und verkündigt, sie bestätigt und ergründet, (Pr 8:22; Jer 10:12)28und er sprach zum Menschen: »Siehe, die Furcht des Herrn, das ist Weisheit, und vom Bösen weichen, das ist Einsicht!« (De 4:6; Ps 34:15; Ps 111:10; Pr 1:7; Pr 9:10; Pr 16:6; Ec 12:13; Jas 3:17)
