1Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.2Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side.3And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.4Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.5Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.6And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this ? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river.7Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.8Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.9And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.10And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.11But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.12And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.13Thus saith the Lord GOD; This shall be the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions.14And ye shall inherit it, one as well as another: concerning the which I lifted up mine hand to give it unto your fathers: and this land shall fall unto you for inheritance.15And this shall be the border of the land toward the north side, from the great sea, the way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad;16Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazarhatticon, which is by the coast of Hauran.17And the border from the sea shall be Hazarenan, the border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side.18And the east side ye shall measure from Hauran, and from Damascus, and from Gilead, and from the land of Israel by Jordan, from the border unto the east sea. And this is the east side.19And the south side southward, from Tamar even to the waters of strife in Kadesh, the river to the great sea. And this is the south side southward.20The west side also shall be the great sea from the border, till a man come over against Hamath. This is the west side.21So shall ye divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Israel.22And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.23And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.

(Eze 44:4)3Während nun der Mann mit einer Messschnur in seiner Hand nach Osten hinausging, maß er 1 000 Ellen und führte mich durch das Wasser; und das Wasser ging mir bis an die Knöchel. Und er maß [noch] 1 000 Ellen und führte mich hinüber, da ging mir das Wasser bis an die Lenden.5Als er aber [noch] 1 000 Ellen maß, da war es ein Strom, den ich nicht durchschreiten konnte. Denn das Wasser war so tief, dass man darin schwimmen musste; ein Strom, der nicht zu durchschreiten war. (Isa 11:9; Mt 13:31)6Da sprach er zu mir: Hast du das gesehen, Menschensohn? Und er führte mich und brachte mich wieder an das Ufer des Stromes zurück. (Jer 1:11; Eze 8:17; Eze 40:4; Eze 47:1; Zec 4:2; Joh 1:50)7Als ich nun zurückkehrte, siehe, da standen auf dieser und jener Seite am Ufer des Stromes sehr viele Bäume. (Ge 2:9; Eze 47:12; Re 22:2)8Und er sprach zu mir: Dieses Wasser fließt hinaus zum östlichen Kreis und ergießt sich über die Arava[1] und mündet ins [Tote] Meer, und wenn es ins Meer geflossen ist, dann wird das Wasser [des Meeres] gesund. (Ex 15:25; De 3:17; De 4:49; 2Ki 2:19; Eze 47:9; Zec 14:8)9Und es wird geschehen: Alle lebendigen Wesen, alles, was sich dort tummelt, wohin diese fließenden Wasser kommen, das wird leben. Es wird auch sehr viele Fische geben, weil dieses Wasser dorthin kommt; und es wird alles gesund werden und leben, wohin dieser Strom kommt. (Joh 4:10; Joh 4:14; Joh 7:37; Re 22:1)10Und es wird geschehen, dass Fischer an ihm stehen werden; von En-Gedi bis En-Eglaim wird es Plätze zum Ausbreiten der Netze geben. Seine Fische werden sehr zahlreich sein, gleich den Fischen im großen Meer, nach ihrer Art. (Nu 34:6; 1Sa 24:1; 2Ch 20:2; Eze 47:15; Eze 47:20; Eze 48:28)11Seine Sümpfe aber und seine Lachen werden nicht gesund; sie bleiben dem Salz überlassen. (Ge 19:26; De 29:23; Jud 9:45; Ps 107:33)12Aber an diesem Strom, auf beiden Seiten seines Ufers, werden allerlei Bäume wachsen, von denen man isst, deren Blätter nicht verwelken und deren Früchte nicht aufhören werden. Alle Monate werden sie neue Früchte bringen; denn ihr Wasser fließt aus dem Heiligtum. Ihre Früchte werden als Speise dienen und ihre Blätter als Heilmittel. (Ps 1:3; Jer 17:8; Eze 47:7; Re 22:2)
Die Grenzen des Landes
13So spricht GOTT, der Herr: Das ist die Grenze, innerhalb derer ihr den zwölf Stämmen Israels das Land zum Erbe austeilen sollt; Joseph gehören zwei Lose. (Ge 15:18; Ge 48:5; Jos 13:29; Jos 16:1; Jos 16:5; Jos 17:1; 1Ki 5:1; Eze 47:15; Eze 47:17; Eze 47:20; Eze 47:21; Eze 48:4)14Und zwar sollt ihr es, einer wie der andere, zum Erbbesitz erhalten, da ich meine Hand [zum Schwur] erhoben habe, es euren Vätern zu geben; und dieses Land soll euch als Erbbesitz zufallen. (Ge 15:18; Ge 17:8; Ex 6:8; Eze 20:5)15Das ist aber die Grenze des Landes: auf der Nordseite vom großen Meer an, wo man von Hetlon nach Zedad geht, (Nu 34:8; Eze 48:1)16Hamat, Berota, Sibraim, das zwischen dem Gebiet von Damaskus und dem Gebiet von Hamat liegt, bis Hazar-Tichon, das an der Grenze des Hauran liegt. (Nu 34:8; 2Sa 8:8)17Und die Grenze vom Meer soll nach Hazar-Enon verlaufen, im Gebiet von Damaskus; und was den Norden betrifft, nordwärts soll Hamat die Grenze sein. Das ist die Nordseite. (Nu 34:9; Eze 48:1)18Was aber die Ostseite betrifft, so soll sie von Hauran nach Damaskus und Gilead bis zum Land Israel am Jordan verlaufen. Von der [Nord]grenze sollt ihr [so] bis zum östlichen Meer[2] messen. Das ist die Ostseite. (2Ki 10:33; Joe 2:20; Zec 14:8)19Aber die Südseite gegen Mittag geht von Tamar bis an das Haderwasser von Kadesch, durch den Bach [Ägyptens][3] bis zum großen Meer. Das ist die Mittagsseite nach Süden. (Ge 14:7; Nu 20:1; Nu 20:13; De 32:51; 2Ch 20:2; Eze 48:28)20Und die Westseite bildet das große Meer, von der [Süd-]Grenze an bis man nach Lebo-Hamat kommt. Das ist die Westseite. (Nu 13:21; Nu 34:6; Eze 48:1)21Dieses Land sollt ihr unter euch verteilen nach den Stämmen Israels. (Eze 47:13)22Ihr sollt es aber als Erbbesitz verlosen unter euch und unter die Fremdlinge, die unter euch wohnen und unter euch Kinder gezeugt haben. Und sie sollen euch gelten wie Eingeborene unter den Kindern Israels. Sie sollen mit euch unter den Stämmen Israels ihren Erbbesitz erhalten. (Le 19:34; De 10:18; Isa 55:6; Eze 47:13; Ro 8:16; Ga 3:28; Eph 2:12; Eph 3:6)23Und es soll geschehen, in dem Stamm, bei dem der Fremdling wohnt, sollt ihr ihm sein Erbteil geben, spricht GOTT, der Herr.
