1 A Psalm of David. Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide. 2 Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. 3 For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth. 4 I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. 5 I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked. 6 I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD: 7 That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. 8 LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. 9 Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men: 10 In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes. 11 But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me. 12 My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.

Richte du mich, Jahwe, / denn ich war immer ehrlich vor dir. / Ich habe Jahwe vertraut, / ich werde nicht fallen. 2 Prüf mich, Jahwe, und erprobe mich, / prüfe mich auf Herz und Nieren! 3 Ich hatte deine Gnade vor Augen, / deine Treue bestimmte mein Leben. 4 Ich hatte nichts mit Betrügern zu tun. / Ich gab mich nicht mit Heuchlern ab. 5 Die Gesellschaft von Übeltätern ist mir verhasst, / bei den Gottlosen sitze ich nicht. 6 In Unschuld wasche ich meine Hände / und gehe um deinen Altar herum. 7 Ich lasse laut ein Danklied hören / und erzähle von all deinen Wundern, Jahwe. 8 Ich liebe das Haus, in dem du wohnst, / wo deine Herrlichkeit uns nahe ist. 9 Raffe mich nicht mit den Sündern weg, / nimm mir nicht mit den Mördern das Leben! / 10 Schandtaten kleben an ihren Händen, / und ihre Taschen sind durch Bestechungen voll. 11 Doch ich gehe ehrlich meinen Weg. / Erlöse mich und sei mir gnädig! 12 Jetzt stehe ich auf festem Grund / und preise Jahwe vor allem Volk.

Fais-moi justice

1 De David. Fais-moi justice, ô Eternel, ╵car la vie que je mène ╵est sans reproche. Je me confie en l’Eternel, ╵je ne faiblirai pas^[1]. 2 Sonde-moi, Eternel, ╵éprouve-moi et examine ╵mon cœur et mes pensées. 3 Je garde ton amour ╵présent à mon esprit, et je conduis ma vie ╵selon ta vérité. 4 Je ne vais pas m’asseoir ╵avec les hommes fourbes. Je ne fréquente pas ╵les hypocrites. 5 Je hais la compagnie ╵de ceux qui font le mal, je ne vais pas m’asseoir ╵chez les méchants. 6 Je laverai mes mains ╵en signe d’innocence^[2] avant de m’approcher ╵de ton autel, ô Eternel, (De 21:7; Mt 27:24) 7 pour t’exprimer ╵ma gratitude, et raconter ╵tes œuvres merveilleuses. 8 O Eternel, ╵j’aime le lieu ╵où tu habites et où ta gloire^[3] ╵a sa demeure! 9 Ne lie donc pas mon sort ╵à celui des pécheurs, ne m’ôte pas la vie ╵avec les assassins! 10 Ils ont commis ╵des actes criminels, ils se sont laissé acheter^[4]. 11 Mais moi je veux mener ╵une vie sans reproche. Délivre-moi ╵et fais-moi grâce! 12 Je marche sur le droit chemin^[5]. Oui, je veux te bénir, ╵ô Eternel, ╵au sein de l’assemblée.
