1In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.2And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.3His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:4And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.5And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.6He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.7And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.8And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.9And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.10Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.11Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.12And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,13Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.14And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.15So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.16Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.17And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. 1Als aber der Sabbat vorüber war und der erste Tag der Woche anbrach, kamen Maria Magdalena und die andere Maria, um nach dem Grab zu sehen. Denn ein Engel des Herrn kam vom Himmel herab, trat hinzu und wälzte den Stein weg und setzte sich darauf.3Seine Erscheinung war wie der Blitz und sein Gewand weiß wie der Schnee. (Mt 17:2; Ac 1:10)4Die Wachen aber erbebten aus Furcht vor ihm und wurden, als wären sie tot.5Aber der Engel sprach zu den Frauen: Fürchtet euch nicht! Ich weiß, dass ihr Jesus, den Gekreuzigten, sucht.6Er ist nicht hier; er ist auferstanden, wie er gesagt hat. Kommt und seht die Stätte, wo er gelegen hat; (Mt 12:40; Mt 16:21; Mt 17:23; Mt 20:19)7und geht eilends hin und sagt seinen Jüngern: Er ist auferstanden von den Toten. Und siehe, er geht vor euch hin nach Galiläa; da werdet ihr ihn sehen. Siehe, ich habe es euch gesagt. (Mt 26:32)8Und sie gingen eilends weg vom Grab mit Furcht und großer Freude und liefen, um es seinen Jüngern zu verkündigen.9Und siehe, da begegnete ihnen Jesus und sprach: Seid gegrüßt! Und sie traten zu ihm und umfassten seine Füße und fielen vor ihm nieder.10Da sprach Jesus zu ihnen: Fürchtet euch nicht! Geht hin und verkündigt es meinen Brüdern, dass sie nach Galiläa gehen: Dort werden sie mich sehen. (Heb 2:11)11Als sie aber hingingen, siehe, da kamen einige von der Wache in die Stadt und verkündeten den Hohenpriestern alles, was geschehen war.12Und die kamen mit den Ältesten zusammen, hielten Rat und gaben den Soldaten viel Geld13und sprachen: Sagt, seine Jünger sind in der Nacht gekommen und haben ihn gestohlen, während wir schliefen. (Mt 27:64)14Und wenn es dem Statthalter zu Ohren kommt, wollen wir ihn beschwichtigen und dafür sorgen, dass ihr nichts zu fürchten habt.15Sie nahmen das Geld und taten, wie sie angewiesen waren. Und dies Gerücht hat sich bei Juden verbreitet bis auf den heutigen Tag.
Der Missionsbefehl
16Aber die elf Jünger gingen nach Galiläa auf den Berg, wohin Jesus sie beschieden hatte.17Und als sie ihn sahen, fielen sie vor ihm nieder; einige aber zweifelten.18Und Jesus trat herzu, redete mit ihnen und sprach: Mir ist gegeben alle Gewalt im Himmel und auf Erden. (Mt 11:27; Joh 3:35; Eph 1:20)19Darum gehet hin und lehret alle Völker:[1] Taufet sie auf den Namen des Vaters und des Sohnes und des Heiligen Geistes (Mt 24:14; Mr 16:15; 2Co 5:20)20und lehret sie halten alles, was ich euch befohlen habe. Und siehe, ich bin bei euch alle Tage bis an der Welt Ende. (Mt 18:20)
