Psalm 95

King James Version

1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. 

2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. 

3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. 

4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. 

5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land . 

6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. 

7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, 

8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 

9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. 

10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: 

11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

Dank an den Schöpfer und Aufruf zur Treue

1 Kommt, lasst uns jubeln dem HERRN, jauchzen dem Fels unsres Heils! (Ps 92:16) 

2 Lasst uns mit Dank seinem Angesicht nahen, ihm jauchzen mit Liedern! (Ps 100:2) 

3 Denn ein großer Gott ist der HERR, ein großer König über allen Göttern. (Job 36:22; Ps 47:3; Ps 48:2; Ps 96:4; Ps 99:2; Ps 113:4; Ps 136:2; Ps 145:3) 

4 In seiner Hand sind die Tiefen der Erde, sein sind die Gipfel der Berge. 

5 Sein ist das Meer, das er gemacht hat, das trockene Land, das seine Hände gebildet. (Ps 24:1) 

6 Kommt, wir wollen uns niederwerfen, uns vor ihm verneigen, lasst uns niederknien vor dem HERRN, unserem Schöpfer! 

7 Denn er ist unser Gott, / wir sind das Volk seiner Weide, die Herde, von seiner Hand geführt. Würdet ihr doch heute auf seine Stimme hören! / (Ps 100:3) 

8 Verhärtet euer Herz nicht wie in Meríba, wie in der Wüste am Tag von Massa! (Ps 81:8) 

9 Dort haben eure Väter mich versucht, / sie stellten mich auf die Probe und hatten doch mein Tun gesehen. (Nu 14:22; De 6:16) 

10 Vierzig Jahre war mir dieses Geschlecht zuwider / und ich sagte: Sie sind ein Volk, dessen Herz in die Irre geht, sie kennen meine Wege nicht. (Nu 14:30; De 32:5; Job 21:14) 

11 Darum habe ich in meinem Zorn geschworen: Sie sollen nicht eingehen in meine Ruhe. (Nu 14:22; Ps 132:14; Eze 20:15)
