Psalm 23

King James Version

1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name' sake. 

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Der gute Hirte

1 Ein Psalm Davids. Der HERR ist mein Hirt, nichts wird mir fehlen. (Ge 48:15; Ps 80:2; Ps 95:7; Isa 40:11; Eze 34:2; Mic 7:14; Joh 10:11) 

2 Er lässt mich lagern auf grünen Auen und führt mich zum Ruheplatz am Wasser. (Eze 34:13; Re 7:17) 

3 Meine Lebenskraft bringt er zurück. / Er führt mich auf Pfaden der Gerechtigkeit, getreu seinem Namen. (Ps 25:4; Pr 4:11) 

4 Auch wenn ich gehe im finsteren Tal, ich fürchte kein Unheil; denn du bist bei mir, dein Stock und dein Stab, sie trösten mich. (Isa 50:10) 

5 Du deckst mir den Tisch vor den Augen meiner Feinde. Du hast mein Haupt mit Öl gesalbt, übervoll ist mein Becher. (Ps 16:5; Ps 36:9; Ps 92:11) 

6 Ja, Güte und Huld werden mir folgen mein Leben lang / und heimkehren werde ich ins Haus des HERRN für lange Zeiten. (Ps 27:4; Ps 42:3; Ps 63:3; Ps 65:5; Ps 84:3)
