King James Version

1 A Song of degrees. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD. 2 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. 3 If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? 4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. 5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. 6 My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. 7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption. 8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

1 Ein Wallfahrtslied. Aus den Tiefen rufe ich, HERR, zu dir: / (Jon 2:3) 2 Mein Herr, höre doch meine Stimme! Lass deine Ohren achten auf mein Flehen um Gnade. (Ps 5:2) 3 Würdest du, HERR, die Sünden beachten, mein Herr, wer könnte bestehn? (Ps 143:2; Na 1:6) 4 Doch bei dir ist Vergebung, damit man in Ehrfurcht dir dient. (Ps 32:1; Isa 55:7; Mic 7:18) 5 Ich hoffe auf den HERRN, es hofft meine Seele, ich warte auf sein Wort. (Ps 119:81) 6 Meine Seele wartet auf meinen Herrn / mehr als Wächter auf den Morgen, ja, mehr als Wächter auf den Morgen. (Isa 21:11) 7 Israel, warte auf den HERRN, / denn beim HERRN ist die Huld, bei ihm ist Erlösung in Fülle. (Ps 25:22; Isa 30:18; Mt 1:21) 8 Ja, er wird Israel erlösen aus all seinen Sünden.
