1Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.2And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;3Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;4He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.5After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.6Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?7Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.8Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus Washes the Disciples’ Feet

One of You Will Betray Me
21After saying these things, Jesus was troubled in his spirit, and testified, “Truly, truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me.” (Mt 26:21; Mr 14:18; Lu 22:21; Joh 12:27; Ac 1:17)22The disciples looked at one another, uncertain of whom he spoke. (Lu 22:23)23One of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, was reclining at table at Jesus’ side,[5] (Lu 16:22; Joh 19:26; Joh 20:2; Joh 21:7; Joh 21:20)24so Simon Peter motioned to him to ask Jesus[6] of whom he was speaking.25So that disciple, leaning back against Jesus, said to him, “Lord, who is it?” (Mr 4:36; Joh 21:20)26Jesus answered, “It is he to whom I will give this morsel of bread when I have dipped it.” So when he had dipped the morsel, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.
