1The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;2To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;3To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.4And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.5And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.6But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.7For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.8For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.9And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.10I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.11For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
1Der Geist des Herrn, HERRN, ist auf mir; denn der HERR hat mich gesalbt. Er hat mich gesandt, den Elenden[1] frohe Botschaft zu bringen, zu verbinden, die gebrochenen Herzens sind, Freilassung auszurufen den Gefangenen und Öffnung des Kerkers den Gebundenen[2], (Ex 28:41; Ps 68:7; Ps 147:3; Isa 42:1; Isa 42:7; Isa 48:16; Isa 52:7; Isa 57:15; Mt 3:16; Mt 11:5; Mt 12:18; Ac 4:27)2auszurufen das Gnadenjahr des HERRN[3] und den Tag der Rache für unsern Gott, zu trösten alle Trauernden, (Le 25:10; Isa 35:4; Isa 49:8; Isa 51:12; Isa 57:18; Isa 63:4; Mt 5:4; Lu 4:18; 2Th 1:7)3den Trauernden Zions ⟨Frieden⟩, ihnen Kopfschmuck[4] statt Asche zu geben, Freudenöl statt Trauer, ein Ruhmesgewand statt eines verzagten Geistes, damit sie Terebinthen der Gerechtigkeit genannt werden, eine Pflanzung des HERRN, dass er sich ⟨durch sie⟩ verherrlicht. (Ps 30:12; Isa 60:21; Joh 16:20)4Sie werden die uralten Trümmerstätten aufbauen, das früher Verödete[5] wieder aufrichten. Und sie werden die verwüsteten Städte erneuern, was verödet lag von Generation zu Generation. (Ezr 9:9; Ne 3:34; Isa 49:8; Isa 58:12)5Dann werden Fremde dastehen und eure Schafherden weiden, und Ausländer[6] werden eure Bauern und eure Weingärtner sein. (Isa 14:2; Isa 60:10)6Ihr aber, ihr werdet Priester des HERRN genannt werden; Diener unseres Gottes wird man zu euch sagen. Ihr werdet den Reichtum der Nationen genießen und mit ihrer Herrlichkeit euch brüsten[7]. (Ex 19:6; Isa 54:3; Isa 60:5; Isa 66:21; Jer 33:18; Re 1:6)7Weil ihre Schande doppelt war und sie Schmach besaßen als ihr ⟨Erb⟩teil[8], darum werden sie in ihrem Land das Doppelte besitzen; ewige Freude wird ihnen ⟨zuteil⟩. (Job 42:10; Isa 60:15; Zec 9:12)8Denn ich, der HERR, liebe das Recht, ich hasse den Raub mitsamt dem Unrecht[9]. Und ich werde ihnen ihren Lohn in Treue[10] geben und einen ewigen Bund mit ihnen schließen. (Ps 11:7; Isa 54:10; Isa 55:3; Eze 16:60; Eze 34:25; Heb 8:8)9Und ihre Nachkommen werden bekannt werden unter den Nationen und ihre Sprösslinge inmitten der Völker. Alle, die sie sehen, werden erkennen, dass sie Nachkommen sind, die der HERR gesegnet hat. (Nu 22:12; Isa 65:23; Mal 3:12)10Freuen, ja, freuen will ich mich in dem HERRN! Jubeln soll meine Seele in meinem Gott! Denn er hat mich bekleidet mit Kleidern des Heils[11], den Mantel der Gerechtigkeit mir umgetan, wie der Bräutigam sich nach Priesterart[12] mit dem Kopfschmuck und wie die Braut sich mit ihrem Geschmeide schmückt. (Ex 28:2; Ps 132:9; Hab 3:18; Zec 3:5; Lu 15:22; Php 4:4; Re 21:2)11Denn wie die Erde ihr Gewächs hervorbringt und wie ein Garten seine Saat aufsprossen lässt, so wird der Herr, HERR, Gerechtigkeit und Ruhm aufsprossen lassen vor allen Nationen.
