1And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,2And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;3That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.4If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:5And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.6And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.7And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.8And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.9And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:10If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.11For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.12It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?13Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?14But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.15See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;16In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.17But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;18I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.19I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:20That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
1Und es wird geschehen, wenn all diese Worte über dich kommen, der Segen und der Fluch, die ich dir vorgelegt habe, und du es dir zu Herzen nimmst unter all den Nationen, wohin der HERR, dein Gott, dich verstoßen hat, (De 28:1; De 29:27; Eze 6:9)2und du umkehrst zum HERRN, deinem Gott, und seiner Stimme gehorchst nach allem, was ich dir heute befehle, du und deine Kinder, mit deinem ganzen Herzen und mit deiner ganzen Seele, (Le 26:40)3dann wird der HERR, dein Gott, dein Geschick wenden und sich über dich erbarmen. Und er wird dich wieder sammeln aus all den Völkern, wohin der HERR, dein Gott, dich zerstreut hat. (1Ch 16:35; Ps 126:1; Ps 147:2; Isa 43:5; Jer 23:3; Eze 11:17; Eze 39:28; Joe 4:1; Mic 7:19; Zec 8:7; Zec 10:9)4Wenn deine Verstoßenen am Ende des Himmels wären, ⟨selbst⟩ von dort wird der HERR, dein Gott, dich sammeln, und von dort wird er dich holen. (1Ki 8:34; 2Ch 30:9; Ne 1:9; Isa 27:12; Eze 36:24; Mt 24:31)5Und der HERR, dein Gott, wird dich in das Land bringen, das deine Väter in Besitz genommen haben, und du wirst es in Besitz nehmen. Und er wird dir Gutes tun und dich zahlreicher werden lassen als deine Väter. (Jer 33:9; Eze 36:11)6Und der HERR, dein Gott, wird dein Herz und das Herz deiner Nachkommen beschneiden, damit du den HERRN, deinen Gott, liebst mit deinem ganzen Herzen und mit deiner ganzen Seele, dass du am Leben bleibst. (Le 18:5; De 6:5; De 10:16; Jer 24:7; Eze 11:19; Ro 2:29)7Und der HERR, dein Gott, wird all diese Flüche auf deine Feinde und auf deine Hasser legen, die dir nachgejagt sind. (Nu 24:9; Jer 30:16)8Du aber, du wirst umkehren und der Stimme des HERRN gehorchen und wirst all seine Gebote tun, die ich dir heute befehle. (Eze 36:27)9Und der HERR, dein Gott, wird dir Überfluss geben bei allem Tun deiner Hand, an der Frucht deines Leibes und an der Frucht deines Viehs und an der Frucht deines Ackerlandes, ⟨für dich⟩ zum Guten. Denn der HERR wird sich wieder über dich freuen zum Guten, wie er sich über deine Väter gefreut hat, (De 7:14; De 28:11; De 28:63; Isa 62:4; Jer 32:41; Zep 3:17)10wenn[1] du der Stimme des HERRN, deines Gottes, gehorchst, um seine Gebote und seine Ordnungen zu halten, die in diesem Buch des Gesetzes aufgeschrieben sind, wenn[2] du zum HERRN, deinem Gott, umkehrst mit deinem ganzen Herzen und mit deiner ganzen Seele. (De 6:5; Zec 6:15)11Denn dieses Gebot, das ich dir heute gebiete, ist nicht zu wunderbar[3] für dich und ist ⟨dir⟩ nicht ⟨zu⟩ fern. (Isa 45:19; 1Jo 5:3)12Es ist nicht im Himmel, dass du sagen müsstest: Wer wird für uns in den Himmel hinaufsteigen und es uns holen und es uns hören lassen, dass wir es tun?13Und es ist nicht jenseits des Meeres, dass du sagen müsstest: Wer wird für uns auf die andere Seite des Meeres hinüberfahren und es uns holen und es uns hören lassen, dass wir es tun?14Sondern ganz nahe ist dir das Wort, in deinem Mund und in deinem Herzen, um es zu tun. (Ro 10:6)15Siehe, ich habe dir heute vorgelegt das Leben und das Gute, den Tod und das Böse, (De 11:26; Jer 21:8; Jer 42:21)16[4] indem ich dir heute gebiete, den HERRN, deinen Gott, zu lieben, auf seinen Wegen zu gehen und seine Gebote, seine Ordnungen und seine Rechtsbestimmungen zu bewahren, damit du lebst und zahlreich wirst[5] und der HERR, dein Gott, dich segnet in dem Land, wohin du kommst, um es in Besitz zu nehmen. (De 5:33; Jos 23:11)17Wenn aber dein Herz sich abwendet und du nicht gehorchst und du dich verführen lässt und dich vor andern Göttern niederwirfst und ihnen dienst, (De 11:16; 1Sa 12:21)18dann kündige ich euch heute an, dass ihr ganz gewiss umkommen werdet. Ihr werdet ⟨eure⟩ Tage nicht verlängern in dem Land, in das du über den Jordan ziehst, um hineinzukommen, es in Besitz zu nehmen. (De 4:25; De 31:17)19Ich rufe heute den Himmel und die Erde als Zeugen gegen euch auf: Das Leben und den Tod habe ich dir vorgelegt, den Segen und den Fluch! So wähle das Leben, damit du lebst, du und deine Nachkommen, (De 4:25; De 11:26; De 31:17; Pr 9:11; Pr 12:28; Jer 21:8; Jer 42:21; Eze 20:11)20indem du den HERRN, deinen Gott, liebst und seiner Stimme gehorchst und ihm anhängst! Denn das ist dein Leben und die Dauer deiner Tage, dass du in dem Land wohnst, das der HERR deinen Vätern, Abraham, Isaak und Jakob, geschworen hat, ihnen zu geben.
