Psalm 116

King James Version

1 I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. 

2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. 

3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. 

4 Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. 

5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. 

6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me. 

7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee. 

8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. 

9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living. 

10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted: 

11 I said in my haste, All men are liars. 

12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me? 

13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD. 

14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people. 

15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. 

16 O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds. 

17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD. 

18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people, 

19 In the courts of the LORD' house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.

1 (По слав. 114.) Обичам ГОСПОДА, защото послуша гласа ми и молбите ми; (Ps 18:1) 

2 понеже приклони ухото Си към мене, затова ще Го призовавам, докато съм жив. 

3 Връзките на смъртта ме обвиха и мъките на преизподнята ме намериха; скръб и беда срещнах. (Ps 18:4) 

4 Тогава призовах името ГОСПОДНЕ и Го помолих: О, ГОСПОДИ, избави душата ми. 

5 Благ е ГОСПОД и праведен. Да! Милостив е нашият Бог. (Ezr 9:15; Ne 9:8; Ps 13:6; Ps 103:8; Ps 116:7; Ps 119:17; Ps 119:137; Ps 145:17; Jer 6:16; Mt 11:29) 

6 ГОСПОД пази простодушните; в беда бях и Той ме избави. 

7 Върни се, душо моя, в успокоението си, защото ГОСПОД постъпи щедро към тебе. 

8 Понеже си избавил душата ми от смърт, очите ми от сълзи и краката ми от подхлъзване, (Ps 56:13) 

9 затова ще ходя пред ГОСПОДА в земята на живите. (По слав. 115.) (Ps 27:13) 

10 Аз повярвах, затова говорих; много бях наскърбен. (2Co 4:13) 

11 В тревогата си казах: Всеки човек е измамлив. (Ps 31:22; Ro 3:4) 

12 Какво да въздам на ГОСПОДА за всичките Му благодеяния към мене? 

13 Ще взема чашата на спасението и ще призова името ГОСПОДНЕ; 

14 ще изпълня оброците си на ГОСПОДА, да, пред целия Му народ. (Ps 22:25; Ps 116:18; Jon 2:10) 

15 Скъпоценна е пред ГОСПОДА смъртта на светиите Му. (Ps 72:14) 

16 Ах! ГОСПОДИ, наистина аз съм Твой слуга; Твой слуга съм, син на Твоята слугиня; Ти си развързал връзките ми. (Ps 86:16; Ps 119:125; Ps 143:12) 

17 На Тебе ще принеса жертва на хваление и името ГОСПОДНЕ ще призова. (Le 7:12; Ps 50:14; Ps 107:22) 

18 Ще изпълня оброците си на ГОСПОДА – да! – пред целия Негов народ, (Ps 116:14)
