1Ein Lied von David.2Der HERR erhöre deinen Hilferuf, wenn du in Not bist, der Gott Jakobs beschütze dich!3Aus seinem Heiligtum komme er dir zu Hilfe, vom Berg Zion aus stärke und stütze er dich!4Er beachte die Gaben, die du ihm bringst, deine Brandopfer nehme er gnädig an!5Er gebe dir, was du von Herzen wünschst, was du dir vorgenommen hast, lasse er gelingen!6Wenn er dir den Sieg geschenkt hat, werden wir vor Freude jubeln und im Namen unseres Gottes die Fahnen schwingen. Der HERR erfülle alle deine Bitten!7Jetzt weiß ich, dass der HERR seinem König hilft, den er auserwählt und eingesetzt hat[1]. Er antwortet ihm aus seiner himmlischen Wohnung, machtvoll greift er ein und rettet ihn. (Ps 2,2)8Manche Völker schwören auf gepanzerte Kriegswagen und auf die Kampfkraft ihrer Reiterheere. Wir aber vertrauen auf die Kraft des HERRN, unseres Gottes.9Sie wanken und stürzen, wir aber stehen fest und halten stand.10HERR, hilf dem König![2] Erhöre uns, wenn wir zu dir rufen!
1May the LORD answer you when you are in trouble. May the God of Jacob keep you safe.2May he send you help from the sacred tent. May he give you aid from Zion.3May he remember all your sacrifices. May he accept your burnt offerings.4May he give you what your heart wishes for. May he make all your plans succeed.5May we shout for joy over your victory. May we lift up our flags in the name of our God. May the LORD give you everything you ask for.6Now I know that the LORD gives victory to his anointed king. He answers him from his sacred home in heaven. The power of God’s right hand gives victory to the king.7Some trust in chariots. Some trust in horses. But we trust in the LORD our God.8They are brought to their knees and fall down. But we get up and stand firm.9LORD, give victory to the king! Answer us when we call out to you!
