1 Ein Lied. Singt dem HERRN ein neues Lied! Er hat Wunder für uns vollbracht: Durch seine große göttliche Macht hat er den Sieg errungen. (Ps 96,1) 2 So hat er den Beweis erbracht, dass er rettet. Allen Völkern hat er gezeigt: Auf ihn ist Verlass!^[1] (Jes 52,9) 3 Er hat sein Versprechen eingelöst und hat Israel Güte und Treue erwiesen. Bis ans Ende der Erde ist es nun bekannt, dass unser Gott uns befreit hat. 4 Jubelt dem HERRN zu, ihr Bewohner der Erde! Jauchzt vor Freude, preist ihn mit Gesang! (Ps 66,1) 5 Singt ihm Lieder zur Harfe, lasst den Lobpreis ertönen zum Saitenspiel! 6 Lasst Trompeten und Hörner erschallen, jauchzt vor dem HERRN, dem Herrscher der Welt! 7 Das Meer soll brausen mit allem, was darin lebt; die Erde soll jubeln mit allen, die darauf wohnen; 8 die Ströme sollen in die Hände klatschen und alle Berge vor Freude singen! 9 Denn der HERR kommt; er kommt und sorgt für Recht auf der Erde. Er regiert die Völker in allen Ländern als gerechter, unparteiischer Richter. (Ps 96,13)

A Psalm.
