Die Heilung eines Gelähmten

1 Und Jesus stieg ins Boot, fuhr über den See und kam in seine Stadt. (Mk 2,1; Lk 5,17) 2 Und siehe, man brachte einen Gelähmten auf seinem Bett zu ihm. Als Jesus ihren Glauben sah, sagte er zu dem Gelähmten: Hab Vertrauen, mein Sohn, deine Sünden sind dir vergeben! (Lk 7,48) 3 Und siehe, einige Schriftgelehrte dachten: Er lästert Gott. 4 Jesus wusste, was sie dachten, und sagte: Warum denkt ihr Böses in euren Herzen? 5 Was ist denn leichter, zu sagen: Deine Sünden sind dir vergeben! oder zu sagen: Steh auf und geh umher? 6 Damit ihr aber erkennt, dass der Menschensohn die Vollmacht hat, auf der Erde Sünden zu vergeben – sagte er zu dem Gelähmten: Steh auf, nimm dein Bett und geh in dein Haus! 7 Und der Mann stand auf und ging in sein Haus. 8 Als die Leute das sahen, erschraken sie und priesen Gott, der solche Vollmacht den Menschen gegeben hat.

Nachfolge und Mahl

9 Als Jesus weiterging, sah er einen Mann namens Matthäus am Zoll sitzen und sagte zu ihm: Folge mir nach! Und Matthäus stand auf und folgte ihm nach. (Mt 8,22; Mk 2,13; Lk 5,27) 10 Und als Jesus in seinem Haus bei Tisch war, siehe, viele Zöllner und Sünder kamen und aßen zusammen mit ihm und seinen Jüngern. 11 Als die Pharisäer das sahen, sagten sie zu seinen Jüngern: Wie kann euer Meister zusammen mit Zöllnern und Sündern essen? 12 Er hörte es und sagte: Nicht die Gesunden bedürfen des Arztes, sondern die Kranken. 13 Geht und lernt, was es heißt: Barmherzigkeit will ich, nicht Opfer! Denn ich bin nicht gekommen, um Gerechte zu rufen, sondern Sünder. (Hos 6,6; Mt 12,7)

Fasten und Feiern

14 Da kamen die Jünger des Johannes zu ihm und sagten: Warum fasten deine Jünger nicht, während wir und die Pharisäer fasten? (Mk 2,18; Lk 5,33) 15 Jesus antwortete ihnen: Können denn die Hochzeitsgäste trauern, solange der Bräutigam bei ihnen ist? Es werden aber Tage kommen, da wird ihnen der Bräutigam weggenommen sein; dann werden sie fasten. 16 Niemand setzt ein Stück neuen Stoff auf ein altes Gewand; denn der neue Stoff reißt doch wieder ab und es entsteht ein noch größerer Riss. 17 Auch füllt man nicht jungen Wein in alte Schläuche. Sonst reißen die Schläuche, der Wein läuft aus und die Schläuche sind unbrauchbar. Jungen Wein füllt man in neue Schläuche, dann bleibt beides erhalten.

Die Auferweckung der Tochter eines Synagogenvorstehers und die Heilung einer kranken Frau

18 Während Jesus so mit ihnen redete, siehe, da kam ein Synagogenvorsteher, fiel vor ihm nieder und sagte: Meine Tochter ist eben gestorben; komm doch, leg ihr deine Hand auf und sie wird leben! (Mk 5,21; Lk 8,40) 19 Jesus stand auf und folgte ihm mit seinen Jüngern. 20 Und siehe, eine Frau, die schon zwölf Jahre an Blutfluss litt, trat von hinten heran und berührte den Saum seines Gewandes; 21 denn sie sagte sich: Wenn ich auch nur sein Gewand berühre, werde ich geheilt. (Mt 14,36; Mk 6,56) 22 Jesus wandte sich um, und als er sie sah, sagte er: Hab keine Angst, meine Tochter, dein Glaube hat dich gerettet! Und von dieser Stunde an war die Frau geheilt. 23 Als Jesus in das Haus des Synagogenvorstehers kam und die Flötenspieler und die Menge der klagenden Leute sah, 24 sagte er: Geht hinaus! Das Mädchen ist nicht gestorben, es schläft nur. Da lachten sie ihn aus. 25 Als man die Leute hinausgeworfen hatte, trat er ein und fasste das Mädchen an der Hand; da stand es auf. (Mk 1,31; Mk 9,27) 26 Und die Kunde davon verbreitete sich in der ganzen Gegend.

Die Heilung von zwei Blinden

27 Als Jesus weiterging, folgten ihm zwei Blinde und schrien: Hab Erbarmen mit uns, Sohn Davids! (Mt 15,22; Mt 20,29; Mk 10,46; Lk 18,35)

28 Nachdem er ins Haus gegangen war, kamen die Blinden zu ihm. Und Jesus sagte zu ihnen: Glaubt ihr, dass ich dies tun kann? Sie antworteten: Ja, Herr. 29 Darauf berührte er ihre Augen und sagte: Wie ihr geglaubt habt, so soll euch geschehen. 30 Da wurden ihre Augen geöffnet. Jesus aber wies sie streng an: Nehmt euch in Acht! Niemand darf es erfahren. 31 Doch sie gingen weg und erzählten von ihm in der ganzen Gegend.

Die Heilung eines Stummen

32 Als sie gegangen waren, siehe, da brachte man einen Stummen zu ihm, der von einem Dämon besessen war. (Mt 12,22; Lk 11,14) 33 Er trieb den Dämon aus und der Stumme konnte reden. Alle Leute staunten und sagten: So etwas ist in Israel noch nie gesehen worden. 34 Die Pharisäer aber sagten: Mit Hilfe des Anführers der Dämonen treibt er die Dämonen aus.

Über die große Ernte und die wenigen Arbeiter

35 Jesus zog durch alle Städte und Dörfer, lehrte in ihren Synagogen, verkündete das Evangelium vom Reich und heilte alle Krankheiten und Leiden. (Mt 4,23; Mk 6,6; Lk 8,1) 36 Als er die vielen Menschen sah, hatte er Mitleid mit ihnen; denn sie waren müde und erschöpft wie Schafe, die keinen Hirten haben. 37 Da sagte er zu seinen Jüngern: Die Ernte ist groß, aber es gibt nur wenig Arbeiter. (Lk 10,2) 38 Bittet also den Herrn der Ernte, Arbeiter für seine Ernte auszusenden!

And he arose, and followed him. 10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? 12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. 13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. 14 Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not? 15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast. 16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse. 17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved. 18 While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live. 19 And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples. 20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: 21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. 22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. 23 And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise, 24 He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. 25 But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose. 26 And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land. 27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us. 28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. 31 But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country. 32 As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil. 33 And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel. 34 But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils. 35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. 36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

I zwrócił się do sparaliżowanego: —Jesteś uzdrowiony! Zabierz swoje nosze i idź do domu! 7 A chory wstał i odszedł do domu. 8 Po zebranych przeszedł dreszcz lęku. I wielbili Boga za to, że dał taką moc człowiekowi!

Powołanie Mateusza

9 Odchodząc stamtąd, Jezus zobaczył niejakiego Mateusza, poborcę podatkowego, który właśnie tam pracował. —Chodź ze Mną—zwrócił się do niego. A on natychmiast wstał i poszedł z Jezusem. 10 Później, gdy Jezus i Jego uczniowie byli u niego w domu, zebrało się wokół stołu wielu nieuczciwych poborców podatkowych i innych ludzi, uważanych za grzeszników. 11 Widząc to, faryzeusze mówili do uczniów: —Dlaczego wasz nauczyciel zadaje się z takimi ludźmi? 12 Jezus usłyszał to i odpowiedział: —To chorzy potrzebują lekarza, a nie zdrowi! 13 Idźcie i zastanówcie się nad słowami Pisma: „Pragnę waszej miłości, a nie ofiar”. Nie przyszedłem wzywać do opamiętania się tych, którzy uważają się za dobrych, ale właśnie grzeszników.

14 Pewnego razu przyszli do Jezusa uczniowie Jana Chrzciciela i zapytali Go: —My i faryzeusze, stosując się do religijnych zaleceń, często powstrzymujemy się od posiłków. Dlaczego Twoi uczniowie tego nie czynią? 15 —Przecież goście na weselu, będąc z panem młodym, nie mogą się smucić!—odrzekł Jezus. —Ale nadejdzie czas, gdy zabiorą im pana młodego. Wtedy będą pościć. 16 Nikt nie używa nowego materiału do łatania starego ubrania, bo nowa łata się kurczy i jeszcze bardziej rozdziera ubranie. 17 Nie wlewa się też świeżego wina do starych, stwardniałych bukłaków. Mogłyby przecież popękać, a wtedy i wino by się rozlało, i bukłaki zniszczyły. Świeże wino wlewa się do nowych, miękkich bukłaków. W ten sposób i jedno, i drugie się zachowuje.

Jezus wskrzesza i uzdrawia

18 Gdy jeszcze o tym mówił, podszedł do Niego przełożony miejscowej synagogi. Pokłonił się i powiedział: —Przed chwilą zmarła moja córeczka. Ale jeśli przyjdziesz i dotkniesz jej, ożyje. 19 Jezus wstał i wraz z uczniami poszedł za przełożonym. 20 Tymczasem pewna kobieta, od dwunastu lat cierpiąca na krwotok, podeszła do Niego od tyłu i dotknęła Jego ubrania. 21 Pomyślała bowiem: „Jeśli tylko dotknę Jego płaszcza, zostanę uzdrowiona”. 22 Jezus odwrócił się, dostrzegł ją i rzekł: —Bądź dobrej myśli, córko! Uwierzyłaś, więc zostałaś uzdrowiona! I w tej samej chwili kobieta odzyskała zdrowie. 23 Gdy przybył do domu przełożonego synagogi, zobaczył żałobników i lamentujący tłum. 24 —Odejdźcie stąd—powiedział. —Dziewczynka nie umarła, tylko śpi. Ale oni śmiali się z Niego. 25 W końcu jednak wyproszono tłum. Jezus wszedł do środka, wziął dziewczynkę za rękę, a ona natychmiast wstała! 26 Wieść o tym obiegła całą okolicę.

Jezus uzdrawia niewidomych

27 Jezus właśnie stamtąd odchodził, gdy zjawili się dwaj niewidomi, którzy wołali za Nim: —Potomku króla Dawida, zmiłuj się nad nami! 28 Szli tak za Nim aż do domu, gdzie się zatrzymał. Wtedy podeszli bliżej, a On ich zapytał: —Wierzycie, że mogę to zrobić? —Tak, Panie!—odpowiedzieli. 29 —Niech będzie tak, jak wierzycie—powiedział Jezus i dotknął ich oczu. 30 I nagle przejrzeli! Wówczas On surowo im nakazał: —Nikomu o tym nie mówcie. 31 Ale oni odeszli i zaraz wszędzie o tym opowiedzieli.

Jezus uzdrawia niemowę

32 W tym właśnie czasie przyprowadzono do Jezusa kolejnego człowieka—niemowę zniewolonego przez demona. 33 Po wypędzeniu demona, człowiek ten zaczął mówić. A tłumy nie mogły wyjść z podziwu: —Coś takiego nigdy się nie zdarzyło w całym Izraelu! 34 —Wypędza demony, bo władca demonów Mu w tym pomaga—twierdzili natomiast faryzeusze.

Niewielu pracowników

35 A Jezus odwiedzał wszystkie okoliczne miasta i wioski. Nauczał w synagogach, głosił dobrą nowinę o królestwie i uzdrawiał z każdej choroby i słabości. 36 Gdy patrzył na otaczające Go tłumy, ogarniała Go litość. Ludzie byli bowiem udręczeni i zagubieni jak owce bez pasterza. 37 —Żniwo jest wielkie—mówił uczniom—a tak mało pracujących! 38 Proście więc gospodarza, aby posłał więcej pracowników na żniwa.
