Das Gleichnis von den klugen und den törichten Jungfrauen

1 Dann wird es mit dem Himmelreich sein wie mit zehn Jungfrauen, die ihre Lampen nahmen und dem Bräutigam entgegengingen. (Lk 12,35) 2 Fünf von ihnen waren töricht und fünf waren klug. 3 Die törichten nahmen ihre Lampen mit, aber kein Öl, 4 die klugen aber nahmen mit ihren Lampen noch Öl in Krügen mit. 5 Als nun der Bräutigam lange nicht kam, wurden sie alle müde und schliefen ein. 6 Mitten in der Nacht aber erscholl der Ruf: Siehe, der Bräutigam! Geht ihm entgegen! 7 Da standen die Jungfrauen alle auf und machten ihre Lampen zurecht. 8 Die törichten aber sagten zu den klugen: Gebt uns von eurem Öl, sonst gehen unsere Lampen aus! 9 Die klugen erwiderten ihnen: Dann reicht es nicht für uns und für euch; geht lieber zu den Händlern und kauft es euch! 10 Während sie noch unterwegs waren, um es zu kaufen, kam der Bräutigam. Die Jungfrauen, die bereit waren, gingen mit ihm in den Hochzeitssaal und die Tür wurde zugeschlossen. 11 Später kamen auch die anderen Jungfrauen und riefen: Herr, Herr, mach uns auf! (Lk 13,25) 12 Er aber antwortete ihnen und sprach: Amen, ich sage euch: Ich kenne euch nicht. 13 Seid also wachsam! Denn ihr wisst weder den Tag noch die Stunde. (Mt 24,42; Mk 13,35)

Das Gleichnis von den anvertrauten Talenten Silbergeld

14 Es ist wie mit einem Mann, der auf Reisen ging. Er rief seine Diener und vertraute ihnen sein Vermögen an. (Mk 13,34; Lk 19,11) 15 Dem einen gab er fünf Talente Silbergeld, einem anderen zwei, wieder einem anderen eines, jedem nach seinen Fähigkeiten. Dann reiste er ab. Sofort 16 ging der Diener, der die fünf Talente erhalten hatte hin, wirtschaftete mit ihnen und gewann noch fünf weitere dazu. 17 Ebenso gewann der, der zwei erhalten hatte, noch zwei weitere dazu. 18 Der aber, der das eine Talent erhalten hatte, ging und grub ein Loch in die Erde und versteckte das Geld seines Herrn. 19 Nach langer Zeit kehrte der Herr jener Diener zurück und hielt Abrechnung mit ihnen. 20 Da kam der, der die fünf Talente erhalten hatte, brachte fünf weitere und sagte: Herr, fünf Talente hast du mir gegeben; sieh her, ich habe noch fünf dazugewonnen. 21 Sein Herr sagte zu ihm: Sehr gut, du tüchtiger und treuer Diener. Über Weniges warst du treu, über Vieles werde ich dich setzen. Komm, nimm teil am Freudenfest deines Herrn! (Mt 24,45; Lk 12,43; Lk 16,10) 22 Dann kam der Diener, der zwei Talente erhalten hatte, und sagte: Herr, du hast mir zwei Talente gegeben; sieh her, ich habe noch zwei dazugewonnen. 23 Sein Herr sagte zu ihm: Sehr gut, du tüchtiger und treuer Diener. Über Weniges warst du treu, über Vieles werde ich dich setzen. Komm, nimm teil am Freudenfest deines Herrn! 24 Es kam aber auch der Diener, der das eine Talent erhalten hatte, und sagte: Herr, ich wusste, dass du ein strenger Mensch bist; du erntest, wo du nicht gesät hast, und sammelst, wo du nicht ausgestreut hast; 25 weil ich Angst hatte, habe ich dein Geld in der Erde versteckt. Sieh her, hier hast du das Deine. 26 Sein Herr antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Du bist ein schlechter und fauler Diener! Du hast gewusst, dass ich ernte, wo ich nicht gesät habe, und sammle, wo ich nicht ausgestreut habe. 27 Du hättest mein Geld auf die Bank bringen müssen, dann hätte ich es bei meiner Rückkehr mit Zinsen zurückerhalten. 28 Nehmt ihm also das Talent weg und gebt es dem, der die zehn Talente hat! 29 Denn wer hat, dem wird gegeben werden und er wird im Überfluss haben; wer aber nicht hat, dem wird auch noch weggenommen, was er hat. (Mt 13,12; Mk 4,25; Lk 8,18) 30 Werft den nichtsnutzigen Diener hinaus in die äußerste Finsternis! Dort wird Heulen und Zähneknirschen sein. (Mt 8,12; Mt 13,42; Mt 22,13; Mt 24,51; Lk 13,28)

(Offb 20,10) 42 Denn ich war hungrig und ihr habt mir nichts zu essen gegeben; ich war durstig und ihr habt mir nichts zu trinken gegeben; 43 ich war fremd und ihr habt mich nicht aufgenommen; ich war nackt und ihr habt mir keine Kleidung gegeben; ich war krank und im Gefängnis und ihr habt mich nicht besucht. 44 Dann werden auch sie antworten: Herr, wann haben wir dich hungrig oder durstig oder fremd oder nackt oder krank oder im Gefängnis gesehen und haben dir nicht geholfen? 45 Darauf wird er ihnen antworten: Amen, ich sage euch: Was ihr für einen dieser Geringsten nicht getan habt, das habt ihr auch mir nicht getan. 46 Und diese werden weggehen zur ewigen Strafe, die Gerechten aber zum ewigen Leben. Wyjdźcie mu na spotkanie!”. 7 Dziewczęta zerwały się i przygotowały lampy. 8 Niemądre zwróciły się do pozostałych: „Dajcie nam trochę oliwy, bo nasze lampy gasną!”. 9 Mądre odpowiedziały jednak: „Jeśli damy wam, nie wystarczy ani dla nas, ani dla was. Idźcie lepiej sobie kupić!”. 10 Gdy poszły to zrobić, przybył pan młody. Te, które były gotowe, weszły z nim na przyjęcie weselne—a drzwi zamknięto. 11 Po pewnym czasie wróciły pozostałe dziewczęta i zaczęły wołać: „Panie, otwórz nam!”. 12 Lecz on odpowiedział: „Niestety nie znam was, odejdźcie stąd!”. 13 Uważajcie więc, bo nie znacie dnia ani czasu mojego powrotu!

Przypowieść o zysku i stracie

14 Królestwo niebieskie jest jak człowiek, który odjeżdżając w daleką podróż zwołał swoich podwładnych i powierzył im na ten czas swój majątek. 15 Jednemu przekazał pięć tysięcy, drugiemu dwa tysiące, a trzeciemu tysiąc—każdemu zgodnie z jego możliwościami. I odjechał. 16 Pierwszy zaczął obracać pięcioma tysiącami i po pewnym czasie zarobił kolejne pięć tysięcy. 17 Drugi również zainwestował pieniądze i zyskał kolejne dwa tysiące. 18 Natomiast ten, który miał zarządzać tysiącem, ukrył go w bezpiecznym miejscu. 19 Po dłuższym czasie pan powrócił i chciał się z nimi rozliczyć. 20 Wtedy ten, któremu powierzył pięć tysięcy, przyniósł dodatkowe pięć i powiedział: „Panie! Powierzyłeś mi pięć tysięcy. Oto osiągnąłem zysk w wysokości kolejnych pięciu tysięcy”. 21 „Bardzo dobrze!”—rzekł pan. „Jesteś dobrym i wiernym pracownikiem. A temu, kto nie przynosi zysku, odbiorą i to, co posiada. 30 Wyrzućcie tego lenia na zewnątrz, w ciemności! Tam będzie rozpacz i lament”.

31 Gdy Ja, Syn Człowieczy, przybędę w chwale, wraz ze wszystkimi aniołami, zasiądę na swoim tronie pełnym chwały. 32 I zgromadzą się przede Mną wszystkie narody, a Ja rozdzielę ludzi na dwie grupy, tak jak pasterz rozdziela owce i kozły. 33 „Owce” postawię po prawej stronie, a „kozły” po lewej. 34 Wówczas jako Król powiem do tych po prawej: „Mój ojciec obdarzył was wielkim szczęściem! Wejdźcie do królestwa, które zostało dla was przygotowane zanim jeszcze zaistniał świat! 35 Bo gdy byłem głodny, nakarmiliście Mnie. Gdy byłem spragniony, daliście Mi pić. Gdy byłem w podróży, ugościliście Mnie. 36 Gdy nie miałem się w co ubrać, daliście Mi odzież, a gdy byłem chory oraz gdy przebywałem w więzieniu, odwiedzaliście Mnie”. 37 „Panie!”—zapytają prawi. „Kiedy widzieliśmy Cię głodnego i nakarmiliśmy Cię? Kiedy daliśmy Ci pić, gdy byłeś spragniony? 38 Albo kiedy ugościliśmy Cię podczas podróży lub daliśmy Ci odzież, gdy nie miałeś w co się ubrać? 39 Kiedy to było, gdy odwiedziliśmy Cię w czasie choroby lub w więzieniu?”. 40 „Zapewniam was”—odpowiem wtedy—„że cokolwiek zrobiliście jednemu z moich braci, choćby najmniejszemu, Mnie to uczyniliście”. 41 Następnie jako Król zwrócę się do tych po lewej stronie: „Jesteście przeklęci przez Boga! Idźcie w ogień wieczny, przygotowany dla diabła i jego aniołów! 42 Gdy byłem głodny, nie nakarmiliście Mnie, gdy byłem spragniony, nie daliście Mi pić. 43 Byłem w podróży, a odmówiliście Mi gościny, nie miałem się w co ubrać, a nie pomogliście Mi; byłem chory i w więzieniu, a nie odwiedziliście Mnie”. 44 „Panie!”—powiedzą. „Kiedy widzieliśmy Cię głodnego, spragnionego, w podróży, pozbawionego ubrań, chorego albo w więzieniu, a nie okazaliśmy Ci pomocy?”. 45 „Zapewniam was”—odpowiem wtedy—„że gdy odmówiliście pomocy najmniejszemu z moich braci, Mnie jej pozbawiliście”. 46 I pójdą oni na wieczne potępienie, prawi zaś—do życia wiecznego.
