Das Gleichnis von den Arbeitern im Weinberg

1 Denn mit dem Himmelreich ist es wie mit einem Gutsbesitzer, der früh am Morgen hinausging, um Arbeiter für seinen Weinberg anzuwerben. 2 Er einigte sich mit den Arbeitern auf einen Denar für den Tag und schickte sie in seinen Weinberg. 3 Um die dritte Stunde ging er wieder hinaus und sah andere auf dem Markt stehen, die keine Arbeit hatten. 4 Er sagte zu ihnen: Geht auch ihr in meinen Weinberg! Ich werde euch geben, was recht ist. 5 Und sie gingen. Um die sechste und um die neunte Stunde ging der Gutsherr wieder hinaus und machte es ebenso. 6 Als er um die elfte Stunde noch einmal hinausging, traf er wieder einige, die dort standen. Er sagte zu ihnen: Was steht ihr hier den ganzen Tag untätig? 7 Sie antworteten: Niemand hat uns angeworben. Da sagte er zu ihnen: Geht auch ihr in meinen Weinberg! 8 Als es nun Abend geworden war, sagte der Besitzer des Weinbergs zu seinem Verwalter: Ruf die Arbeiter und zahl ihnen den Lohn aus, angefangen bei den Letzten, bis hin zu den Ersten! (3Mo 19,13; 5Mo 24,15) 9 Da kamen die Männer, die er um die elfte Stunde angeworben hatte, und jeder erhielt einen Denar. 10 Als dann die Ersten kamen, glaubten sie, mehr zu bekommen. Aber auch sie erhielten einen Denar. 11 Als sie ihn erhielten, murrten sie über den Gutsherrn 12 und sagten: Diese Letzten haben nur eine Stunde gearbeitet und du hast sie uns gleichgestellt. Wir aber haben die Last des Tages und die Hitze ertragen. 13 Da erwiderte er einem von ihnen: Freund, dir geschieht kein Unrecht. Hast du nicht einen Denar mit mir vereinbart? 14 Nimm dein Geld und geh! Ich will dem Letzten ebenso viel geben wie dir. 15 Darf ich mit dem, was mir gehört, nicht tun, was ich will? Oder ist dein Auge böse, weil ich gut bin? 16 So werden die Letzten Erste sein und die Ersten Letzte.^[1] (Mt 19,30; Mk 10,31; Lk 13,30)

Die dritte Ankündigung von Leiden und Auferstehung Jesu

17 Als Jesus nach Jerusalem hinaufzog, nahm er die zwölf Jünger beiseite und sagte unterwegs zu ihnen: (Mk 10,32; Lk 18,31) 18 Siehe, wir gehen nach Jerusalem hinauf; und der Menschensohn wird den Hohepriestern und Schriftgelehrten ausgeliefert; sie werden ihn zum Tod verurteilen (Mt 16,21; Mt 17,22) 19 und den Heiden ausliefern, damit er verspottet, gegeißelt und gekreuzigt wird; und am dritten Tag wird er auferweckt werden. Vom Dienen und Herrschen

20 Damals kam die Frau des Zebedäus mit ihren Söhnen zu Jesus, fiel vor ihm nieder und bat ihn um etwas. (Mk 10,35) 21 Er fragte sie: Was willst du? Sie antwortete: Versprich, dass meine beiden Söhne in deinem Reich rechts und links neben dir sitzen dürfen! 22 Jesus erwiderte: Ihr wisst nicht, was ihr erbittet. Könnt ihr den Kelch trinken, den ich trinken werde? Sie sagten zu ihm: Wir können es. (Mt 26,39; Joh 18,11) 23 Da antwortete er ihnen: Meinen Kelch werdet ihr trinken; doch den Platz zu meiner Rechten und zu meiner Linken habe nicht ich zu vergeben; dort werden die sitzen, für die es mein Vater bestimmt hat. 24 Als die zehn anderen Jünger das hörten, wurden sie sehr ärgerlich über die beiden Brüder. (Mk 10,41; Lk 22,24) 25 Da rief Jesus sie zu sich und sagte: Ihr wisst, dass die Herrscher ihre Völker unterdrücken und die Großen ihre Vollmacht gegen sie gebrauchen. 26 Bei euch soll es nicht so sein, sondern wer bei euch groß sein will, der soll euer Diener sein, (Mt 23,11; Mk 9,35; Lk 9,48) 27 und wer bei euch der Erste sein will, soll euer Sklave sein. 28 Wie der Menschensohn nicht gekommen ist, um sich dienen zu lassen, sondern um zu dienen und sein Leben hinzugeben als Lösegeld für viele. (Mk 10,45; 1Tim 2,6)

Die Heilung von zwei Blinden bei Jericho

29 Als sie Jericho verließen, folgte ihm eine große Zahl von Menschen nach. (Mt 9,27; Mk 10,46; Lk 18,35) 30 Und siehe, an der Straße saßen zwei Blinde, und als sie hörten, dass Jesus vorbeikam, riefen sie laut: Hab Erbarmen mit uns, Herr, Sohn Davids! 31 Die Leute aber befahlen ihnen, zu schweigen. Sie aber schrien noch lauter: Hab Erbarmen mit uns, Herr, Sohn Davids! 32 Jesus blieb stehen, rief sie zu sich und sagte: Was wollt ihr, dass ich euch tue? 33 Sie antworteten: Herr, dass unsere Augen geöffnet werden. 34 Da hatte Jesus Mitleid mit ihnen und berührte ihre Augen. Im gleichen Augenblick konnten sie sehen und sie folgten ihm nach.

1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. 2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? 7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. They say unto him, We are able. 23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father. 24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren. 25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. 29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him. 30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David. 31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David. 32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you? 33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened. 34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

Jezus ponownie zapowiada swoją śmierć

Prośba matki

Pokłoniła się i powiedziała, że ma do Niego pewną prośbę. 21 —Jaka to prośba?—zapytał. —Pozwól, by moi synowie zasiedli w Twoim królestwie tuż obok Ciebie—po prawej i lewej stronie. 22 —Nie wiecie, o co prosicie!—odrzekł Jezus. —Czy jesteście gotowi wypić mój „kielich cierpienia”? —Tak—odpowiedzieli bracia. 23 —Rzeczywiście, wypijecie ten kielich—kontynuował Jezus—ale nie mam prawa posadzić was na tronie obok siebie. Dwóch niewidomych odzyskuje wzrok

29 Gdy wychodzili z Jerycha, za Jezusem ciągnął wielki tłum. 30 A przy drodze siedzieli dwaj niewidomi. Gdy usłyszeli, że zbliża się Jezus, zaczęli wołać: —Potomku króla Dawida, zmiłuj się nad nami! 31 —Cicho bądźcie!—krzyczeli na nich ludzie. Oni jednak tym głośniej wołali: —Pomóż nam, Panie, potomku Dawida! 32 Jezus zatrzymał się, zawołał ich i zapytał: —Co mogę dla was zrobić? 33 —Panie, chcemy odzyskać wzrok!—prosili. 34 Ogarnięty współczuciem, Jezus dotknął ich oczu. Natychmiast odzyskali wzrok i poszli z Nim.
