(Hes 25,3; Hes 26,2)3Darum tritt als Prophet auf und sag: So spricht GOTT, der Herr: Weil man euch verödet und von allen Seiten nach euch geschnappt hat, sodass ihr jetzt Besitz der übrigen Völker seid, weil ihr ins Gerede gekommen und zum Gespött der Leute geworden seid,4darum, ihr Berge Israels, hört das Wort GOTTES, des Herrn: So spricht GOTT, der Herr, zu den Bergen und Hügeln, den Schluchten und Tälern, zu den verfallenen Ruinen und den verlassenen Städten: Weil ihr von den übrigen Völkern ringsum ausgeplündert und verspottet worden seid,5darum - so spricht GOTT, der Herr: Fürwahr, mit glühender Leidenschaft habe ich über den Rest der Nationen und über ganz Edom gesprochen. Voll Freude im Herzen haben sie sich mein Land angeeignet, mit tiefer Verachtung, damit sein Weideland zur Beute werde. (Hes 35,15)6Darum sprich als Prophet über den Ackerboden Israels und sag zu den Bergen und Hügeln, zu den Schluchten und Tälern: So spricht GOTT, der Herr: Siehe, in meiner Leidenschaft und in meinem Grimm habe ich geredet, weil ihr von den Völkern Schimpf ertragen müsst.7Darum - so spricht GOTT, der Herr: Ich, ja ich erhebe meine Hand: Fürwahr, die Völker rings um euch werden ihren eigenen Schimpf tragen müssen.8Ihr aber, ihr Berge Israels, ihr sollt eure Zweige treiben und eure Früchte hervorbringen für mein Volk Israel; denn es wird bald kommen. (Hes 17,23; Hes 20,40; Hes 34,14)9Denn seht, ich bin für euch und wende mich euch zu und dann ackert und sät man wieder auf euch10und ich mache die Menschen zahlreich auf euch, das ganze Haus Israel insgesamt. Die Städte werden bewohnt sein und die Ruinen aufgebaut. (Ps 69,36)11Ich mache Mensch und Vieh zahlreich auf euch und sie werden sich vermehren und fruchtbar sein. Ich will dafür sorgen, dass ihr bewohnt seid, wie in euren früheren Zeiten; ich werde euch mehr Gutes erweisen als in euren Anfängen. Dann werdet ihr erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin.12Menschen, mein ganzes Volk Israel, lasse ich auf euch gehen und sie werden dich in Besitz nehmen; du wirst ihr Erbbesitz sein und ihnen nie mehr ihre Kinder wegnehmen.13So spricht GOTT, der Herr: Weil man zu euch sagt: Eine Menschenfresserin bist du und hast deiner eigenen Nation die Kinder weggenommen, (4Mo 13,32)14darum sollst du keine Menschen mehr fressen und deiner eigenen Nation nicht mehr die Kinder wegnehmen - Spruch GOTTES, des Herrn.15Ich lasse dich den Schimpf der Nationen nie mehr anhören und den Hohn der Völker wirst du nie mehr ertragen müssen. Du wirst deiner eigenen Nation nicht mehr die Kinder wegnehmen - Spruch GOTTES, des Herrn.
Gottes heiliger Name und die Sammlung und Erneuerung Israels
16Das Wort des HERRN erging an mich:17Menschensohn, als die vom Haus Israel in ihrem Land wohnten, machten sie es durch ihre Wege und ihre Taten unrein. Wie die monatliche Unreinheit der Frau waren ihre Wege in meinen Augen. (3Mo 15,19; Hes 18,6)18Da goss ich meinen Zorn über sie aus, weil sie Blut vergossen im Land und es mit ihren Götzen befleckten.19Ich zerstreute sie unter die Nationen; in die Länder wurden sie vertrieben. Nach ihren Wegen und nach ihren Taten habe ich sie gerichtet. (Hes 6,8; Hes 11,16; Hes 12,15; Hes 17,21; Hes 20,23; Hes 22,15)20Als sie aber zu den Nationen kamen, entweihten sie überall, wohin sie kamen, meinen heiligen Namen; denn man sagte von ihnen: Das ist das Volk des HERRN und doch mussten sie sein Land verlassen. (Jes 52,5; Hes 20,39; Hes 43,8; Röm 2,24)21Da tat mir mein heiliger Name leid, den das Haus Israel bei den Nationen entweihte, wohin es auch kam. (Hes 20,9)22Darum sag zum Haus Israel: So spricht GOTT, der Herr: Nicht euretwegen handle ich, Haus Israel, sondern um meines heiligen Namens willen, den ihr bei den Nationen entweiht habt, wohin ihr auch gekommen seid. (Ps 79,9; Ps 106,8; Ps 115,1; Jes 48,11; Jer 14,7; Hes 16,60)23Meinen großen, bei den Nationen entweihten Namen, den ihr mitten unter ihnen entweiht habt, werde ich wieder heiligen. Und die Nationen - Spruch GOTTES, des Herrn - werden erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin, wenn ich mich an euch vor ihren Augen als heilig erweise. (Mt 6,9)24Ich nehme euch heraus aus den Nationen, ich sammle euch aus allen Ländern und ich bringe euch zu eurem Ackerboden. (Hes 11,17)25Ich gieße reines Wasser über euch aus, dann werdet ihr rein. Ich reinige euch von aller Unreinheit und von allen euren Götzen. (Ps 51,9; Jes 4,4; Jer 33,8; Sach 13,1; Joh 3,5)26Ich gebe euch ein neues Herz und einen neuen Geist gebe ich in euer Inneres. Ich beseitige das Herz von Stein aus eurem Fleisch und gebe euch ein Herz von Fleisch. (Jer 24,7; Hes 11,19; Hes 39,29; 2Kor 3,3)27Ich gebe meinen Geist in euer Inneres und bewirke, dass ihr meinen Gesetzen folgt und auf meine Rechtsentscheide achtet und sie erfüllt. (Jer 31,33; Hes 11,20; Hes 37,24; 1Joh 3,23)28Dann werdet ihr in dem Land wohnen, das ich euren Vätern gegeben habe. Ihr werdet mir Volk sein und ich, ich werde euch Gott sein.29Ich befreie euch von all eurer Unreinheit. Ich rufe das Getreide und lasse es wachsen. Ich verhänge über euch keine Hungersnot mehr.30Ich vermehre die Frucht des Baumes und den Ertrag des Feldes, damit ihr unter den Nationen die Schande einer Hungersnot nicht mehr ertragen müsst. (Hes 34,27; Joe 2,19)31Dann werdet ihr an eure verkehrten Wege und an eure Taten denken, die nicht gut waren, und es wird euch ekeln vor euch selbst wegen eurer Gräueltaten. (Hes 6,9; Hes 16,61; Hes 20,43)32Nicht euretwegen handle ich so - Spruch GOTTES, des Herrn -, das soll von euch erkannt werden. Schämt euch und vergeht vor Scham wegen eurer Wege, ihr vom Haus Israel!33So spricht GOTT, der Herr: An dem Tag, da ich euch von all eurer Schuld reinige, mache ich die Städte bewohnbar und die Ruinen werden aufgebaut.34Das verödete Land wird bestellt, es liegt nicht mehr öde vor den Augen all derer, die vorübergehen.35Dann wird man sagen: Dieses verödete Land ist wie der Garten Eden geworden; die zerstörten, verödeten, vernichteten Städte sind befestigt. Sie werden bewohnt. (1Mo 2,8; Jes 51,3; Hes 28,13; Hes 31,8)36Dann werden die restlichen Nationen rings um euch erkennen, dass ich, der HERR, das Zerstörte aufgebaut und das Verödete bepflanzt habe. Ich, der HERR, habe gesprochen und ich führe es aus. (Jer 1,10)37So spricht GOTT, der Herr: Ich lasse mich vom Haus Israel bitten, auch das noch für sie zu tun: Ich werde sie vermehren wie Schafe, die Menschen.38Wie geweihte Schafe, wie Schafe an den Festen Jerusalems, so werden Herden von Menschen die zerstörten Städte füllen. Dann werden sie erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin. (Mi 2,12)

(Hes 2,1; Hes 6,2)2Thus says the Lord God: Because the enemy said of you, ‘Aha!’ and, ‘The ancient heights have become our possession,’ (5Mo 32,13; Hes 25,3; Hes 26,2; Hes 35,10; Hes 35,12; Hes 36,5)3therefore prophesy, and say, Thus says the Lord God: Precisely because they made you desolate and crushed you from all sides, so that you became the possession of the rest of the nations, and you became the talk and evil gossip of the people, (Kla 2,15; Hes 6,3)4therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God: Thus says the Lord God to the mountains and the hills, the ravines and the valleys, the desolate wastes and the deserted cities, which have become a prey and derision to the rest of the nations all around, (Hes 6,3; Hes 7,21; Hes 33,24; Hes 33,27)5therefore thus says the Lord God: Surely I have spoken in my hot jealousy against the rest of the nations and against all Edom, who gave my land to themselves as a possession with wholehearted joy and utter contempt, that they might make its pasturelands a prey. (Hes 32,24; Hes 36,1; Hes 36,5)7Therefore thus says the Lord God: I swear that the nations that are all around you shall themselves suffer reproach. (Hes 20,5; Hes 36,6)8“But you, O mountains of Israel, shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to my people Israel, for they will soon come home. (Jes 56,1; Hes 12,23; Hes 17,23)9For behold, I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown. (Hes 5,8; Hes 36,34)10And I will multiply people on you, the whole house of Israel, all of it. The cities shall be inhabited and the waste places rebuilt. (Jer 30,19; Hes 36,33; Hes 36,35; Hes 36,37; Hes 37,26)11And I will multiply on you man and beast, and they shall multiply and be fruitful. And I will cause you to be inhabited as in your former times, and will do more good to you than ever before. Then you will know that I am the Lord. And they shall possess you, and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no longer bereave them of children. (Hes 5,17; Ob 1,17)13Thus says the Lord God: Because they say to you, ‘You devour people, and you bereave your nation of children,’ (4Mo 13,32)14therefore you shall no longer devour people and no longer bereave your nation of children, declares the Lord God.15And I will not let you hear anymore the reproach of the nations, and you shall no longer bear the disgrace of the peoples and no longer cause your nation to stumble, declares the Lord God.” (Hes 36,6)
The Lord’s Concern for His Holy Name
16The word of the Lord came to me:17“Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and their deeds. Their ways before me were like the uncleanness of a woman in her menstrual impurity. (3Mo 18,19; 3Mo 18,25; Hes 2,1)18So I poured out my wrath upon them for the blood that they had shed in the land, for the idols with which they had defiled it. (Hes 5,11; Hes 7,8; Hes 16,36; Hes 22,3)19I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries. In accordance with their ways and their deeds I judged them. (Hes 5,10; Hes 18,30)20But when they came to the nations, wherever they came, they profaned my holy name, in that people said of them, ‘These are the people of the Lord, and yet they had to go out of his land.’ (Jes 52,5; Hes 22,26; Röm 2,24)21But I had concern for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations to which they came. (Jes 43,25; Jes 48,11; Hes 20,9)
I Will Put My Spirit Within You
22“Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations to which you came. (5Mo 9,5; Hes 36,20; Hes 36,32)23And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes. (Hes 6,7; Hes 20,41; Hes 30,19; Hes 30,26; Hes 38,23; Hes 39,7; Hes 39,21)24I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land. (Ps 44,11; Hes 11,17; Hes 37,12; Hes 37,21)25I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. (Jes 4,4; Jes 52,15; Jer 33,8; Hes 36,17; Hes 37,23; Hebr 10,22)26And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. (Hes 11,19)27And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.[1] (Hes 36,26; Hes 37,14; Hes 37,24)28You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God. (Hes 11,20; Hes 28,25)29And I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. And I will summon the grain and make it abundant and lay no famine upon you. (Hes 34,29; Hes 37,23; Joe 2,19; Sach 9,17; Mt 1,21)30I will make the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field abundant, that you may never again suffer the disgrace of famine among the nations. (Hes 34,27; Hes 36,29)31Then you will remember your evil ways, and your deeds that were not good, and you will loathe yourselves for your iniquities and your abominations. (Hes 6,9)32It is not for your sake that I will act, declares the Lord God; let that be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel. (Hes 36,22)33“Thus says the Lord God: On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be rebuilt. (Hes 36,9; Hes 36,25)34And the land that was desolate shall be tilled, instead of being the desolation that it was in the sight of all who passed by.35And they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden, and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’ (Jes 51,3)36Then the nations that are left all around you shall know that I am the Lord; I have rebuilt the ruined places and replanted that which was desolate. I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it. (Ps 126,2; Hes 17,24; Hes 34,29)37“Thus says the Lord God: This also I will let the house of Israel ask me to do for them: to increase their people like a flock. (Hes 14,3; Hes 34,31; Hes 36,10)38Like the flock for sacrifices,[2] like the flock at Jerusalem during her appointed feasts, so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of people. Then they will know that I am the Lord.” (2Chr 35,7; Hes 6,7; Hes 36,33)
