1 Die Wohnung sollst du aus zehn Zelttüchern herstellen; aus gezwirntem Byssus, violettem und rotem Purpur und Karmesin mit Kerubim sollst du sie machen, wie es ein Kunstweber macht. (2Mo 26,8) 2 Ein Zelttuch soll achtundzwanzig Ellen lang und vier Ellen breit sein; alle Zelttücher sollen dasselbe Maß haben. 3 Fünf Zelttücher sollen verbunden sein, eins mit dem anderen, und nochmals fünf Zelttücher sollen verbunden sein, eins mit dem anderen. 4 Mach Schleifen aus violettem Purpur am Rand des einen Zelttuchs, am Ende des zusammengefügten Stückes; ebenso sollst du es am Rand des letzten Zelttuchs des außen zusammengefügten Stückes machen. 5 Fünfzig Schleifen sollst du an dem einen Zelttuch anbringen und fünfzig Schleifen am Zelttuchende des zweiten zusammengefügten Stückes; die Schleifen sollen einander entsprechen. 6 Du sollst fünfzig Goldhaken machen und die Zelttücher mit den Haken verbinden, eines mit dem andern; so soll die Wohnung ein Ganzes bilden. 7 Mach Decken aus Ziegenhaar für das Zelt über der Wohnung; elf Decken sollst du herstellen. 8 Eine Decke soll dreißig Ellen lang und vier Ellen breit sein; die elf Decken sollen dasselbe Maß haben. 9 Verbinde fünf Decken zu einem Stück und sechs Decken zu einem Stück; die sechste Decke sollst du an der Vorderseite des Zeltes doppelt zusammenlegen. 10 Fünfzig Schleifen mach am Saum der Decke, die das Ende eines zusammengesetzten Stückes bildet, und ebenso fünfzig Schleifen am Saum der Decke, die das Ende des andern zusammengesetzten Stückes bildet. 11 Fertige fünfzig Kupferhaken an, häng die Haken in die Schleifen und setz das Zelt so zusammen, dass es ein Ganzes bildet! 12 Den herabhängenden überschüssigen Teil der Zeltdecke lass zur Hälfte an der Rückseite der Wohnung herabhängen! 13 Die überschüssige Elle auf beiden Längsseiten der Zeltdecken soll auf die beiden Seiten der Wohnung herabhängen, sodass sie sie bedeckt. 14 Mach für das Zelt eine Decke aus rötlichen Widderfellen und darüber eine Decke aus Tahaschhäuten! 15 Mach für die Wohnung Bretter aus Akazienholz zum Aufstellen! (2Mo 36,20) 16 Jedes Brett soll zehn Ellen lang und anderthalb Ellen breit sein; 17 jedes Brett soll durch zwei Zapfen mit dem nächsten verbunden werden. So mach es mit allen Brettern der Wohnung! 18 An Brettern für die Wohnung verfertige zwanzig für die Südseite! 19 Stell vierzig Sockel aus Silber her als Unterlage für die zwanzig Bretter, je zwei Sockel als Unterlage eines Brettes für seine beiden Zapfen! 20 Für die zweite Seite der Wohnung, die Nordseite, ebenfalls zwanzig Bretter 21 und vierzig Sockel aus Silber, je zwei Sockel als Unterlage eines Brettes. 22 Für die Rückseite der Wohnung, die Westseite, verfertige sechs Bretter 23 und zwei Bretter stell für die Eckstücke an der Rückseite der Wohnung her! 24 Sie sollen einander entsprechen und von unten bis oben zum ersten Ring reichen. So soll es mit den beiden Brettern geschehen, die die Eckstücke bilden. 25 Acht Bretter und sechzehn Sockel aus Silber sollen vorhanden sein, je zwei Sockel als Unterlage für jedes Brett. 26 Verfertige Querlatten aus Akazienholz, fünf für die Bretter auf der einen Seite der Wohnung, 27 fünf für die Bretter der zweiten Seite der Wohnung und fünf für die Bretter der Rückseite der Wohnung, der Westseite! 28 Die mittlere Querlatte soll in der Mitte der Bretter angebracht werden und von einem Ende zum andern reichen. 29 Überzieh die Bretter mit Gold und mach Ringe aus Gold, welche die Querlatten aufnehmen; auch die Querlatten überzieh mit Gold! 30 So errichte die Wohnung nach ihrem Plan, der dir auf dem Berg gezeigt worden ist. 31 Mach einen Vorhang aus violettem und rotem Purpur, Karmesin und gezwirntem Byssus; wie Kunstweberarbeit soll er gemacht werden, mit Kerubim. 32 Häng ihn an die vier mit Gold überzogenen Akaziensäulen, die auf vier Sockeln aus Silber stehen sollen! Auch die Nägel der Säulen sollen aus Gold sein. 33 Häng den Vorhang an die Haken und bring dorthin, hinter den Vorhang, die Lade des Bundeszeugnisses! Der Vorhang trenne für euch zwischen dem Heiligen und dem Allerheiligsten. 34 Setze die Sühneplatte auf die Lade des Bundeszeugnisses im Allerheiligsten! 35 Stell den Tisch außen vor den Vorhang, den Leuchter gegenüber dem Tisch an die Südseite der Wohnung; den Tisch stell an die Nordseite! 36 Für den Eingang des Zeltes mach eine Verhüllung aus violettem und rotem Purpur, Karmesin und gezwirntem Byssus; Arbeit eines Buntwirkers soll er sein. 37 Für die Verhüllung mach fünf Akaziensäulen, überziehe sie mit Gold, dazu goldene Nägel, und gieße für sie fünf kupferne Sockel!

2 The length of each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits,^[1] and the breadth of each curtain four cubits; all the curtains shall be the same size. 3 Five curtains shall be coupled to one another, and the other five curtains shall be coupled to one another. 4 And you shall make loops of blue on the edge of the outermost curtain in the first set. Likewise you shall make loops on the edge of the outermost curtain in the second set. 5 Fifty loops you shall make on the one curtain, and fifty loops you shall make on the edge of the curtain that is in the second set; the loops shall be opposite one another. 6 And you shall make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains one to the other with the clasps, so that the tabernacle may be a single whole. 7 “You shall also make curtains of goats’ hair for a tent over the tabernacle; eleven curtains shall you make. (2Mo 36,14) 8 The length of each curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits. The eleven curtains shall be the same size. 9 You shall couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and the sixth curtain you shall double over at the front of the tent. 10 You shall make fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in one set, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outermost in the second set. 11 “You shall make fifty clasps of bronze, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together that it may be a single whole. 12 And the part that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the back of the tabernacle. 13 And the extra that remains in the length of the curtains, the cubit on the one side, and the cubit on the other side, shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle, on this side and that side, to cover it. 14 And you shall make for the tent a covering of tanned rams’ skins^[2] and a covering of goatskins on top. (2Mo 25,5; 2Mo 36,19) 15 “You shall make upright frames for the tabernacle of acacia wood. 16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a frame, and a cubit and a half the breadth of each frame. 17 There shall be two tenons in each frame, for fitting together. So shall you do for all the frames of the tabernacle. 18 You shall make the frames for the tabernacle: twenty frames for the south side; 19 and forty bases of silver you shall make under the twenty frames, two bases under one frame for its two tenons, and two bases under the next frame for its two tenons; 20 and for the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side twenty frames, 21 and their forty bases of silver, two bases under one frame, and two bases under the next frame. 22 And for the rear of the tabernacle westward you shall make six frames. 23 And you shall make two frames for corners of the tabernacle in the rear; 24 they shall be separate beneath, but joined at the top, at the first ring. Thus shall it be with both of them; they shall form the two corners. 25 And there shall be eight frames, with their bases of silver, sixteen bases; two bases under one frame, and two bases under another frame. 26 “You shall make bars of acacia wood, five for the frames of the one side of the tabernacle, 27 and five bars for the frames of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the frames of the side of the tabernacle at the rear westward. 28 The middle bar, halfway up the frames, shall run from end to end. 29 You shall overlay the frames with gold and shall make their rings of gold for holders for the bars, and you shall overlay the bars with gold. (2Mo 25,27) 30 Then you shall erect the tabernacle according to the plan for it that you were shown on the mountain. 32 And you shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold, with hooks of gold, on four bases of silver. 33 And you shall hang the veil from the clasps, and bring the ark of the testimony in there within the veil. 1 «Farai poi il tabernacolo con dieci teli di lino fino ritorto^[1], di filo color violaceo, porporino e scarlatto, con dei cherubini artisticamente lavorati. 2 La lunghezza di ogni telo sarà di ventotto cubiti, e la larghezza di ogni telo di quattro cubiti; tutti i teli saranno della stessa misura. 3 Cinque teli saranno uniti insieme e gli altri cinque teli saranno pure uniti insieme. 4 Farai dei lacci di color violaceo all’orlo del telo che è all’estremità della prima serie; e lo stesso farai all’orlo del telo che è all’estremità della seconda serie. 5 Metterai cinquanta lacci al primo telo, e metterai cinquanta lacci all’orlo del telo che è all’estremità della seconda serie di teli: i lacci si corrisponderanno l’uno all’altro. 6 Farai cinquanta fermagli d’oro, e unirai i teli l’uno all’altro mediante i fermagli, perché il tabernacolo formi un tutto unico. 7 Farai pure dei teli di pelo di capra che serviranno da tenda per coprire il tabernacolo: di questi teli ne farai undici. 8 La lunghezza di ogni telo sarà di trenta cubiti e la larghezza di ogni telo di quattro cubiti; gli undici teli avranno la stessa misura. 9 Unirai insieme cinque di questi teli da una parte e sei teli dall’altra. Ripiegherai il sesto sulla parte anteriore della tenda. 10 Metterai cinquanta lacci all’orlo del telo che è all’estremità della prima serie, e cinquanta lacci all’orlo del telo che è all’estremità della seconda serie di teli. 11 Farai cinquanta fermagli di bronzo e farai entrare i fermagli nei lacci e unirai così la tenda, in modo che formi un tutto unico. 12 Quanto alla parte che avanza dei teli della tenda, la metà del telo di avanzo ricadrà sulla parte posteriore del tabernacolo. 13 Il cubito che avanza da una parte, come il cubito che avanza dall’altra parte nella lunghezza dei teli della tenda, ricadranno sui due lati del tabernacolo, di qua e di là, per coprirlo. 14 Farai pure per la tenda una coperta di pelli di montone tinte di rosso e sopra questa un’altra coperta di pelli di delfino.

Le assi e le loro basi

15 «Farai per il tabernacolo delle assi di legno d’acacia, messe per diritto. 16 La lunghezza di un’asse sarà di dieci cubiti e la larghezza di un’asse di un cubito e mezzo. 17 Ogni asse avrà due incastri paralleli; farai così per tutte le assi del tabernacolo. 18 Farai dunque le assi per il tabernacolo: venti assi dal lato meridionale, verso il sud. 19 Metterai quaranta basi d’argento sotto le venti assi: due basi sotto ogni asse per i suoi due incastri. 20 Farai venti assi per il secondo lato del tabernacolo, dal lato nord, 21 e le loro quaranta basi d’argento: due basi sotto ogni asse. 22 Per la parte posteriore del tabernacolo, verso occidente, farai sei assi. 23 Farai pure due assi per gli angoli del tabernacolo, dalla parte posteriore. 24 Queste saranno doppie dal basso in su e al tempo stesso formeranno un tutto unico fino in cima, fino al primo anello. Così sarà per ambedue le assi che saranno ai due angoli. 25 Vi saranno dunque otto assi, con le loro basi d’argento: sedici basi, due basi sotto ogni asse. 26 Farai anche delle traverse di legno d’acacia: cinque per le assi di un lato del tabernacolo; 27 cinque traverse per le assi dell’altro lato del tabernacolo e cinque traverse per le assi della parte posteriore del tabernacolo, a occidente. 28 La traversa di mezzo, in mezzo alle assi, passerà da una parte all’altra. 29 Rivestirai d’oro le assi, farai d’oro i loro anelli per i quali passeranno le traverse e rivestirai d’oro le traverse. 30 Erigerai il tabernacolo secondo la forma esatta che ti è stata mostrata sul monte.

I due veli

31 «Farai un velo di filo violaceo, porporino, scarlatto, e di lino fino ritorto con dei cherubini artisticamente lavorati 32 e lo sospenderai a quattro colonne d’acacia, rivestite d’oro, che avranno i chiodi d’oro e poseranno su basi d’argento. 33 Metterai il velo sotto i fermagli; e lì, di là dal velo, introdurrai l’arca della testimonianza; quel velo sarà per voi la separazione del luogo santo dal santissimo. 34 Metterai il propiziatorio sull’arca della testimonianza nel luogo santissimo. 35 Metterai la tavola fuori del velo e il candelabro di fronte alla tavola dal lato meridionale del tabernacolo; metterai la tavola dal lato di settentrione. 36 Farai pure per l’ingresso della tenda una portiera ricamata di filo violaceo, porporino, scarlatto e di lino fino ritorto. 37 Farai cinque colonne d’acacia per sospendervi la portiera; le rivestirai d’oro, avranno i chiodi d’oro e fonderai per esse cinque basi di bronzo.
