Descendants of David

1 These are the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: the firstborn, Amnon, by Ahinoam the Jezreelite; the second, Daniel, by Abigail the Carmelite, (2Sa 3:2; 2Sa 3:3) 

2 the third, Absalom, whose mother was Maacah, the daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith; 

3 the fifth, Shephatiah, by Abital; the sixth, Ithream, by his wife Eglah; 

4 six were born to him in Hebron, where he reigned for seven years and six months. And he reigned thirty-three years in Jerusalem. (2Sa 2:11; 2Sa 5:5) 

5 These were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shobab, Nathan and Solomon, four by Bath-shua, the daughter of Ammiel; (2Sa 5:14; 2Sa 11:3; 2Sa 12:24; 1Ch 14:4) 

6 then Ibhar, Elishama, Eliphelet, (2Sa 5:15; 1Ch 14:5) 

7 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia, 

8 Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine. (1Ch 14:7) 

9 All these were David’s sons, besides the sons of the concubines, and Tamar was their sister. (2Sa 13:1) 

10 The son of Solomon was Rehoboam, Abijah his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son, (1Ki 11:43; 1Ki 14:31; 1Ki 15:1; 1Ki 15:8; 1Ki 15:24) 

11 Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son, (2Ki 8:16; 2Ki 8:24; 2Ki 11:2; 2Ch 21:17; 2Ch 22:6) 

12 Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son, (2Ki 12:21; 2Ki 15:7; 2Ki 15:30) 

13 Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son, (2Ki 15:38; 2Ki 16:20; 2Ki 20:21) 

14 Amon his son, Josiah his son. (2Ki 21:18; 2Ki 21:26) 

15 The sons of Josiah: Johanan the firstborn, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum. (2Ki 23:30; 2Ki 23:34; 2Ki 24:17) 

16 The descendants of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son; (2Ki 24:6; 2Ki 24:17; Jer 22:24; Mt 1:11) 

17 and the sons of Jeconiah, the captive: Shealtiel his son, (2Ki 24:15; Ezr 3:2; Ezr 5:2; Hag 1:1; Hag 1:12; Hag 1:14; Hag 2:2; Hag 2:23; Mt 1:12; Lu 3:27) 

18 Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama and Nedabiah; 

19 and the sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel and Shimei; and the sons of Zerubbabel: Meshullam and Hananiah, and Shelomith was their sister; (Ezr 2:2; Hag 1:1; Hag 1:12; Hag 1:14; Zec 4:6) 

20 and Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed, five. 

21 The sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah and Jeshaiah, his son Rephaiah, his son Arnan, his son Obadiah, his son Shecaniah. 

22 The son of Shecaniah: Shemaiah. And the sons of Shemaiah: Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat, six. (Ezr 8:2; Ne 3:29) 

23 The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam, three. 

24 The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani, seven.
