Answer Me When I Call

1 To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Psalm of David. Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer! (Job 36:16; Ps 61:1; Isa 54:17; Jer 23:6; Hab 3:19) 

2 O men, how long shall my honor be turned into shame? How long will you love vain words and seek after lies? (Ps 5:6) 

3 But know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him. (Ex 11:7; Ps 50:5) 

4 Be angry, and do not sin; ponder in your own hearts on your beds, and be silent. (Ps 42:8; Ps 77:6; Eph 4:26) 

5 Offer right sacrifices, and put your trust in the Lord. (De 33:19; Ps 37:3; Ps 51:19; Ps 62:8) 

6 There are many who say, “Who will show us some good? Lift up the light of your face upon us, O Lord!” (Nu 6:26; Ps 31:16; Ps 67:1; Ps 80:3; Ps 80:7; Ps 80:19; Ps 89:15; Ps 119:135) 

7 You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound. (Isa 9:3; Isa 16:10; Jer 48:38) 

8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. (Le 25:18; Le 26:5; De 33:28; Ps 3:5; Ps 16:9)

2 Ey insanlar, ne zamana dek Onurumu utanca çevireceksiniz? Ne zamana dek boş şeylere gönül verecek, Yalan peşinde koşacaksınız? Sela 

3 Bilin ki, RAB sadık kulunu kendine ayırmıştır, Ne zaman seslensem, duyar beni. 

4 Öfkelenebilirsiniz, ama günah işlemeyin; İyi düşünün yatağınızda, susun. Sela 

5 Doğruluk kurbanları sunun RAB'be, O'na güvenin. 

6 ‹‹Kim bize iyilik yapacak?›› diyen çok. Ya RAB, yüzünün ışığıyla bizi aydınlat!
