(Ps 14:1; Ps 88:1)2God looks down from heaven on the children of man to see if there are any who understand,[2] who seek after God.3They have all fallen away; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one.4Have those who work evil no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and do not call upon God?5There they are, in great terror, where there is no terror! For God scatters the bones of him who encamps against you; you put them to shame, for God has rejected them. When God restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad.

Ils dévorent mon peuple, ils le prennent pour nourriture, ils ne font pas appel à Dieu.6Alors ils trembleront d'épouvante sans qu'il y ait de raison d'avoir peur. Dieu dispersera les os de ceux qui t'assiègent; tu les couvriras de honte, car Dieu les a rejetés.7Oh! qui accordera depuis Sion la délivrance à Israël? Quand Dieu rétablira son peuple, Jacob sera dans l'allégresse, Israël se réjouira.
