Psalm 146

1 Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! (Ps 135:1) 2 I will praise the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. (Ps 63:4; Ps 104:33; Ps 145:2) 3 Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. (Ps 60:11; Ps 108:12; Ps 118:8; Ps 118:9; Isa 2:22; Jer 17:5) 4 When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish. (Job 10:9; Job 34:14; Ps 104:29; Ec 12:7) 5 Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, (Ps 2:12; Ps 119:116; Ps 144:15) 6 who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever; (Ps 100:5; Ps 115:15; Ps 117:2) 7 who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free; (Ps 68:6; Ps 103:6; Ps 105:20; Ps 107:9; Ps 145:15; Isa 61:1) 8 the Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous. (Ps 11:7; Ps 145:14; Ps 147:6; Mt 9:30; Joh 9:7) 9 The Lord watches over the sojourners; he upholds the widow and the fatherless, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin. (Ex 22:21; Ex 22:22; De 10:18; Ps 10:14; Ps 147:6) 10 The Lord will reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the Lord! (Ps 10:16; Ps 146:1)

1 خداوند را سپاس باد! ای جان من، خداوند را ستايش كن. 2 آری، تا زندهام خداوند را سپاس خواهم گفت؛ تا نفس دارم خدای خود را ستايش خواهم كرد. 3 بر رهبران انسانی توكل نكنيد؛ آنها همگی فانی هستند و قادر به نجات دادن نيستند. 4 وقتی آنها میميرند به خاک باز میگردند و تمام نقشههايشان نقش بر آب میشود! 5 اما خوشا به حال كسی كه خدای يعقوب مددكار اوست و اميدش بر يهوه، خدای او میباشد، 6 همان خدايی كه آسمان و زمين و دريا و آنچه را كه در آنهاست، آفريد. او خدايی است كه هميشه نسبت به وعدههايش امين میماند، 7 به داد مظلومان میرسد، و گرسنگان را سير میكند. خداوند اسيران را آزاد میسازد، 8 چشمان كوران را باز میكند و آنان را كه زير بار مشقت خم شدهاند، راست میگرداند. خداوند نيكان را دوست دارد، 9 از غريبان محافظت میكند، از يتيمان و بيوهزنان نگهداری مینمايد؛ اما نقشههای بدكاران را نقش بر آب میكند. 10 خداوند تا ابد سلطنت مینمايد. ای اورشليم، خدای تو در طی تمام دورانها حكمرانی خواهد كرد. خداوند را سپاس باد!
