1ای خداوند، رحمت و انصاف تو را میستايم و با سرود تو را میپرستم.2من راه درست و بیعيب را در پيش خواهم گرفت و با خردمندی رفتار خواهم نمود. ای خداوند، با حضور خود، مرا در اين راه ياری فرما. در خانه خود، زندگی پاكی خواهم داشت.3هر چيز بد و ناپسند را از پيش چشم خود دور خواهم نمود. كردار افراد نادرست را دوست نخواهم داشت و در كارهايشان سهيم نخواهم شد.4نادرستی را از خود دور خواهم ساخت و با گناهكاران معاشرت نخواهم كرد.5كسی را كه از ديگران بدگويی كند ساكت خواهم كرد؛ شخص مغرور و خودخواه را متحمل نخواهم شد.6من در پی اشخاص امين و خداشناس هستم تا آنها را به كاخ خود بياورم. كسی كه درستكار باشد، او را به كار خواهم گماشت.7حيلهگر به كاخ من راه نخواهد يافت و دروغگو نزد من نخواهد ماند.8هر روز عدهای از بدكاران را نابود خواهم كرد تا شهر خدا را از وجود همهٔ آنها پاک سازم.
