Ascribe to the Lord Glory

1 A Psalm of David. Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. (1Ch 16:28; Ps 68:34; Ps 96:7) 

2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness. (Ex 28:2; 1Ch 16:29; Ps 110:3) 

3 The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord, over many waters. (Job 37:4; Ps 18:11) 

4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. (Ps 68:33) 

5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon. (Jud 9:15; Ps 104:16) 

6 He makes Lebanon to skip like a calf, and Sirion like a young wild ox. (Nu 23:22; De 3:9; Ps 114:4; Ps 114:6) 

7 The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire. 

8 The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. (Nu 13:26) 

9 The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth and strips the forests bare, and in his temple all cry, “Glory!” (Job 39:1) 

10 The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord sits enthroned as king forever. (Ge 6:17; Ps 10:16) 

11 May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace! (Ps 68:35; Isa 40:29; Php 4:7)

Un psalm al lui David.

1 Dați DOMNULUI, fii ai lui Dumnezeu, dați DOMNULUI slava și puterea! 

2 Dați DOMNULUI slava cuvenită Numelui Său! Închinați‑vă DOMNULUI cu podoabe sfinte! (Ps 110:3) 

3 Glasul DOMNULUI răsună deasupra apelor. Dumnezeul slavei face să bubuie tunetul; DOMNUL este deasupra apelor mari. 

4 Glasul DOMNULUI răsună cu putere, glasul DOMNULUI răsună cu măreție. 

5 Glasul DOMNULUI doboară cedrii; DOMNUL doboară cedrii Libanului. 

6 Îi face să sară ca un vițel; Libanul și Sirionul sar ca un pui de bivol sălbatic. 

7 Glasul DOMNULUI despică prin scânteieri de foc. 

8 Glasul DOMNULUI face să tremure pustia, DOMNUL face să tremure pustia Kadeș. 

9 Glasul DOMNULUI apleacă stejarii și despoaie pădurile; în Templul Său, toți strigă: „Slavă!“ 

10 În timpul potopului, DOMNUL ședea pe tron; DOMNUL va ședea pe tron ca împărat pe vecie. 

11 DOMNUL va da tărie poporului Său. DOMNUL Își va binecuvânta poporul cu pace.
