1DOAMNE, la Tine îmi înalț sufletul![1]2Dumnezeul meu, în Tine mă încred: să nu fiu dat de rușine! Să nu se bucure dușmanii mei de mine!3Da, toți cei ce nădăjduiesc în Tine nu vor fi dați de rușine, ci rușinați vor fi cei ce sunt necredincioși fără motiv.4Fă‑mi cunoscute căile Tale, DOAMNE, învață‑mă cărările Tale!5Călăuzește‑mă în adevărul Tău, învață‑mă, căci Tu ești Dumnezeul mântuirii mele! În Tine nădăjduiesc toată ziua.6Adu‑Ți aminte, DOAMNE, de mila și de îndurarea Ta, căci acestea sunt din vremuri străvechi!7Nu‑Ți aduce aminte de păcatele din tinerețea mea, nici de fărădelegile mele, ci adu‑Ți aminte de mine după îndurarea Ta, pentru bunătatea Ta, DOAMNE!8DOMNUL este bun și drept; de aceea le dă învățătură celor păcătoși pe cale.9El îi îndrumă pe cei smeriți în ceea ce este drept și îi învață pe cei smeriți calea Lui.10Toate cărările DOMNULUI sunt îndurare și credincioșie pentru cei ce păzesc legământul și mărturiile Lui.11Datorită Numelui Tău, DOAMNE, iartă‑mi nelegiuirea, căci mare este!12Cine este omul care se teme de DOMNUL? Aceluia El îi arată ce cale să aleagă.13Sufletul lui va locui în bunăstare, iar sămânța lui va moșteni țara.14Sfatul DOMNULUI este pentru cei ce se tem de El. El le face cunoscut legământul Lui.15Către DOMNUL îmi îndrept totdeauna privirea, căci El îmi scoate picioarele din laț.16Întoarce‑Te spre mine și arată‑Ți bunăvoința față de mine, căci sunt singur și necăjit.17Necazurile inimii mele s‑au înmulțit; scoate‑mă din nenorocirile mele!18Uită‑Te la suferința și la necazul meu și iartă toate păcatele mele.19Uită‑Te la dușmanii mei, căci se înmulțesc, și la ura înverșunată cu care mă urăsc.20Păzește‑mi sufletul și scapă‑mă. Să nu fiu dat de rușine, căci mă adăpostesc în Tine.21Integritatea și nevinovăția să mă ocrotească, căci nădăjduiesc în Tine.22Dumnezeule, răscumpără pe Israel din toate necazurile lui!
