They will plead with you, saying: ‘Surely God is in you, and there is no other, no god besides him.’” (Isa 14:2; Isa 43:3)15Truly, you are a God who hides himself, O God of Israel, the Savior. (Isa 57:17)16All of them are put to shame and confounded; the makers of idols go in confusion together. Veniți! Apropiați‑vă cu toții, voi supraviețuitori dintre neamuri! Fără minte sunt cei care își poartă lemnul chipului cioplit, și se roagă unui dumnezeu care nu poate mântui.21Vorbiți! Aduceți înainte cazul vostru! Să se sfătuiască împreună! Cine a făcut auzit acest lucru încă de timpuriu și l‑a vestit de demult? Oare nu Eu, DOMNUL?
