1 A Psalm for giving thanks. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! (Ps 50:14; Ps 66:1) 2 Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! (Ps 2:11; Ps 95:2) 3 Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his;[1] we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. (1Ki 18:39; Job 10:3; Job 10:8; Ps 74:1; Ps 95:6; Isa 43:1; Eze 34:30) 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! (Ps 66:13; Ps 96:2; Ps 96:8) 5 For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. (2Ch 5:13; Ezr 3:11; Ps 25:8; Ps 36:5; Ps 106:1; Ps 119:68; Jer 33:11; Na 1:7)

New International Version



1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. 2 Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. 3 Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his[1]; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 For the Lord is good and his love endures for ever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. 2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

1 Shout for joy to the LORD, everyone on earth. 2 Worship the LORD with gladness. Come to him with songs of joy. 3 Know that the LORD is God. He made us, and we belong to him. We are his people. We are the sheep belonging to his flock. 4 Give thanks as you enter the gates of his temple. Give praise as you enter its courtyards. Give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 The LORD is good. His faithful love continues for ever. It will last for all time to come.
