1You[1] will say in that day: “I will give thanks to you, O Lord, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me. (Isa 10:4; Isa 11:11)2“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God[2] is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” (Ex 15:2; Ps 118:14)3With joy you[3] will draw water from the wells of salvation. (Joh 4:13; Joh 7:37)4And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted. (Ps 105:1; Ps 145:4; Ps 148:13; Isa 11:11)5“Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known[4] in all the earth. (Ex 15:1; Ps 98:1)6Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your[5] midst is the Holy One of Israel.” (Ps 46:5; Isa 5:24; Isa 41:14; Isa 41:16; Ho 11:9)

Songs of praise
1In that day you will say: ‘I will praise you, Lord. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me.2Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defence[1]; he has become my salvation.’3With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.4In that day you will say: ‘Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.5Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.6Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.’
Isaiah 12
King James Version
1And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.2Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.3Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.4And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.5Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.6Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

Two songs of praise
1In days to come, the people of Israel will sing, ‘LORD, we will praise you. You were angry with us. But now your anger has turned away from us. And you have brought us comfort.2God, you are the one who saves us. We will trust in you. Then we won’t be afraid. LORD, you are the one who gives us strength. You are the one who keeps us safe. LORD, you have saved us.’3People of Israel, he will save you. That will bring you joy like water brought up from wells.4In days to come, the people of Israel will sing, ‘Give praise to the LORD. Make his name known. Tell the nations what he has done. Announce how honoured he is.5Sing to the LORD. He has done glorious things. Let it be known all over the world.6People of Zion, give a loud shout! Sing for joy! The Holy One of Israel is among you. And he is great.’
