1“You shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits[1] long and five cubits broad. The altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits. The Court of the Tabernacle

Oil for the Lamp
20“You shall command the people of Israel that they bring to you pure beaten olive oil for the light, that a lamp may regularly be set up to burn. (Le 24:1)21In the tent of meeting, outside the veil that is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening to morning before the Lord. The courtyard
9‘Make a courtyard for the tabernacle. 20‘Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning.21In the tent of meeting, outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law, Aaron and his sons are to keep the lamps burning before the Lord from evening till morning. This is to be a lasting ordinance among the Israelites for the generations to come.

Make its shovels, sprinkling bowls, meat forks, and pans for carrying ashes.4Make a bronze grate for the altar. Make a bronze ring for each of the four corners of the grate.5Put the grate halfway up the altar on the inside.6Make poles out of acacia wood for the altar. Cover them with bronze.7Put the poles through the rings. They will be on two sides of the altar for carrying it.8Make the altar out of boards. Leave it hollow. It must look just like what I showed you on the mountain.
The courtyard
9‘Make a courtyard for the holy tent. The south side must be 50 metres long. It must have curtains that are made out of finely twisted linen.10The curtains must be hung on 20 posts that have 20 bronze bases. The posts must have silver hooks and bands on them.11The north side must also be about 50 metres long. It must have curtains with 20 posts that have 20 bronze bases. The posts must have silver hooks and bands on them.12‘The west end of the courtyard must be 25 metres wide.
