1And the angel who talked with me came again and woke me, like a man who is awakened out of his sleep. (Ex 25:31; Ex 25:37; Re 1:12; Re 4:5)3And there are two olive trees by it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left.” (Zec 4:11; Re 11:4)4And I said to the angel who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?” (Zec 4:1)5Then the angel who talked with me answered and said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.” (Zec 4:12)6Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. (1Ch 3:19; Ho 1:7)7Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain. And he shall bring forward the top stone amid shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’” (Isa 40:4; Jer 51:25; Zec 3:9; Zec 4:6)8Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying,9“The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also complete it. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you. (Ezr 3:10; Zec 1:16; Zec 2:9; Zec 4:6)10For whoever has despised the day of small things shall rejoice, and shall see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. “These seven are the eyes of the Lord, which range through the whole earth.” (2Ch 16:9; Pr 15:3; Hag 2:3; Zec 1:16; Zec 3:9)11Then I said to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?” (Zec 4:3)12And a second time I answered and said to him, “What are these two branches of the olive trees, which are beside the two golden pipes from which the golden oil[1] is poured out?” (Zec 4:3)13He said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.” (Zec 4:5)14Then he said, “These are the two anointed ones[2] who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.” (Zec 6:5; Re 11:4)
Die fünfte Vision: der goldene Leuchter und die zwei Ölbäume
1Und der Engel, der mit mir redete, weckte mich abermals auf, wie man vom Schlaf erweckt wird,2und sprach zu mir: Was siehst du? Ich aber sprach: Ich sah, und siehe, da war ein Leuchter, ganz aus Gold, mit einer Schale oben darauf, auf der sieben Lampen waren und je sieben Schnauzen an jeder Lampe, die auf ihr war, (Ex 25:31)3und zwei Ölbäume dabei, einer zu seiner Rechten, der andere zu seiner Linken.4Und ich fuhr fort und sprach zu dem Engel, der mit mir redete: Mein Herr, was ist das?5Und der Engel, der mit mir redete, antwortete und sprach zu mir: Weißt du nicht, was das ist? Ich aber sprach: Nein, mein Herr.
Verheißung über Serubbabel
6Und er antwortete und sprach zu mir: Das ist das Wort des HERRN an Serubbabel: Es soll nicht durch Heer oder Kraft, sondern durch meinen Geist geschehen, spricht der HERR Zebaoth.7Wer bist du, großer Berg? Vor Serubbabel werde zur Ebene! Er wird hervorholen den Grundstein unter Jubelrufen: Glück zu! Glück zu!8Und es geschah zu mir das Wort des HERRN:9Die Hände Serubbabels haben dies Haus gegründet, seine Hände sollen’s auch vollenden, damit ihr erkennt, dass mich der HERR Zebaoth zu euch gesandt hat. (Ezr 3:8)
Deutung der fünften Vision
10Denn wer hat den Tag der geringen Anfänge verachtet? Die werden doch mit Freuden sehen den Schlussstein in Serubbabels Hand. Jene sieben sind des HERRN Augen, die alle Lande durchziehen. (Hag 2:3; Zec 3:9; Zec 7:1)11Und ich fuhr fort und sprach zu ihm: Was sind die zwei Ölbäume zur Rechten und zur Linken des Leuchters?12Und ich sprach weiter zu ihm: Was sind die beiden Zweige der Ölbäume bei den zwei goldenen Röhren, aus denen das goldene Öl herabfließt?13Und er sprach zu mir: Weißt du nicht, was sie sind? Ich aber sprach: Nein, mein Herr.14Und er sprach: Es sind die zwei Gesalbten, die vor dem Herrscher aller Lande stehen. (Nu 3:3; Zec 6:5; Re 11:4)
