1Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it and laid incense on it and offered unauthorized[1] fire before the Lord, which he had not commanded them. (Ex 6:23; Ex 28:1; Ex 30:9; Le 16:1; Nu 3:4; Nu 16:18; Nu 26:61; 1Ch 24:2)2And fire came out from before the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord. (Le 9:24; Nu 16:35; 2Sa 6:7)3Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Among those who are near me I will be sanctified, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” And Aaron held his peace. (Le 21:17; Le 21:21; Ps 39:9; Eze 28:22)4And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said to them, “Come near; carry your brothers away from the front of the sanctuary and out of the camp.” (Ex 6:18; Ex 6:22; Nu 3:19; Nu 3:30)5So they came near and carried them in their coats out of the camp, as Moses had said.6And Moses said to Aaron and to Eleazar and Ithamar his sons, “Do not let the hair of your heads hang loose, and do not tear your clothes, lest you die, and wrath come upon all the congregation; but let your brothers, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning that the Lord has kindled. (Le 13:45; Le 21:10; Nu 1:53; Nu 16:22; Nu 16:46; Nu 18:5; Jos 7:1; Jos 22:18; Jos 22:20; Eze 24:16)7And do not go outside the entrance of the tent of meeting, lest you die, for the anointing oil of the Lord is upon you.” And they did according to the word of Moses. (Le 8:30; Le 21:12)8And the Lord spoke to Aaron, saying,9“Drink no wine or strong drink, you or your sons with you, when you go into the tent of meeting, lest you die. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations. (Nu 6:3; Nu 6:20; Eze 44:21; Lu 1:15; 1Ti 3:3; 1Ti 3:8)10You are to distinguish between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and the clean, (Le 11:47; Le 20:25; Eze 22:26; Eze 44:23)11and you are to teach the people of Israel all the statutes that the Lord has spoken to them by Moses.” (Le 14:57; De 24:8; Ne 8:2; Ne 8:8; Jer 18:18; Mal 2:7)12Moses spoke to Aaron and to Eleazar and Ithamar, his surviving sons: “Take the grain offering that is left of the Lord’s food offerings, and eat it unleavened beside the altar, for it is most holy. (Le 6:16; Le 6:17; Nu 18:9)13You shall eat it in a holy place, because it is your due and your sons’ due, from the Lord’s food offerings, for so I am commanded. (Le 2:3; Le 6:16)14But the breast that is waved and the thigh that is contributed you shall eat in a clean place, you and your sons and your daughters with you, for they are given as your due and your sons’ due from the sacrifices of the peace offerings of the people of Israel. (Ex 29:24; Ex 29:26; Le 7:31; Le 7:34; Nu 18:11)15The thigh that is contributed and the breast that is waved they shall bring with the food offerings of the fat pieces to wave for a wave offering before the Lord, and it shall be yours and your sons’ with you as a due forever, as the Lord has commanded.” (Le 7:31; Le 7:34)16Now Moses diligently inquired about the goat of the sin offering, and behold, it was burned up! And he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the surviving sons of Aaron, saying, (Le 9:3; Le 9:15)17“Why have you not eaten the sin offering in the place of the sanctuary, since it is a thing most holy and has been given to you that you may bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the Lord? (Le 6:26; Le 6:29; Le 10:12)18Behold, its blood was not brought into the inner part of the sanctuary. You certainly ought to have eaten it in the sanctuary, as I commanded.” (Le 6:26; Le 6:30)19And Aaron said to Moses, “Behold, today they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the Lord, and yet such things as these have happened to me! If I had eaten the sin offering today, would the Lord have approved?” (Le 9:8; Le 9:12; Jer 6:20; Jer 14:12; Ho 9:4; Mal 1:10; Mal 1:13; Mal 2:13)20And when Moses heard that, he approved.
1Und Aarons Söhne Nadab und Abihu nahmen ein jeder seine Pfanne und taten Feuer hinein und legten Räucherwerk darauf und brachten so ein fremdes Feuer vor den HERRN, das er ihnen nicht geboten hatte. (Ex 6:23; Ex 28:1; Ex 30:9)2Da fuhr ein Feuer aus von dem HERRN und verzehrte sie, dass sie starben vor dem HERRN. (Nu 16:35; Jer 25:29; 1Pe 4:17)3Da sprach Mose zu Aaron: Das ist’s, was der HERR gesagt hat: Ich erzeige mich heilig an denen, die mir nahe sind, und vor allem Volk erweise ich mich herrlich. Und Aaron schwieg.4Mose aber rief Mischaël und Elizafan, die Söhne Usiëls, des Oheims Aarons, und sprach zu ihnen: Tretet hinzu und tragt eure Brüder von dem Heiligtum hinaus vor das Lager. (Ex 6:22)5Und sie traten hinzu und trugen sie hinaus mit ihren leinenen Gewändern vor das Lager, wie Mose gesagt hatte.6Da sprach Mose zu Aaron und seinen Söhnen Eleasar und Itamar: Ihr sollt euer Haupthaar nicht frei hängen lassen und eure Kleider nicht zerreißen, dass ihr nicht sterbt und der Zorn über die ganze Gemeinde komme. Lasst aber eure Brüder, das ganze Haus Israel, weinen über diesen Brand, den der HERR angerichtet hat. (Le 21:10)7Ihr sollt auch nicht hinweggehen von dem Eingang der Stiftshütte, ihr würdet sonst sterben; denn das Salböl des HERRN ist auf euch. Und sie taten, wie Mose sagte.8Der HERR aber redete mit Aaron und sprach:9Du und deine Söhne, ihr sollt weder Wein noch Bier trinken, wenn ihr in die Stiftshütte geht, damit ihr nicht sterbt. Das sei eine ewige Ordnung für alle eure Nachkommen. (Eze 44:21; Ho 4:11; Am 2:8)10Ihr sollt unterscheiden, was heilig und unheilig, was unrein und rein ist, (Eze 22:26; Eze 44:23)11und Israel lehren alle Ordnungen, die der HERR ihnen durch Mose verkündet hat.12Und Mose redete mit Aaron und mit seinen Söhnen Eleasar und Itamar, die ihm noch geblieben waren: Nehmt das Speisopfer, das übrig geblieben ist von den Feueropfern des HERRN, und esst es ungesäuert bei dem Altar; denn es ist ein Hochheiliges. (Le 9:17)13Ihr sollt es aber an heiliger Stätte essen; denn das ist dein und deiner Söhne Anrecht an den Feueropfern des HERRN; denn so ist mir’s geboten. (Le 2:3)14Auch die Brust des Schwingopfers und die Keule des Hebopfers sollst du mit deinen Söhnen und deinen Töchtern essen an reiner Stätte; denn solches Anrecht an den Dankopfern Israels ist dir und deinen Kindern gegeben. (Le 7:34)15Denn diese Keule und diese Brust soll man zu den Feueropfern des Fettes bringen, dass sie als Schwingopfer geschwungen werden vor dem HERRN; es gehört dir und deinen Söhnen als ewiges Anrecht, wie der HERR geboten hat. (Le 9:20)16Und Mose suchte den Bock des Sündopfers und fand ihn verbrannt. Und er wurde zornig über Eleasar und Itamar, Aarons Söhne, die ihm noch geblieben waren, und sprach: (Le 9:15)17Warum habt ihr das Sündopfer nicht gegessen an heiliger Stätte? Denn es ist ein Hochheiliges, und der HERR hat es euch gegeben, dass ihr die Schuld der Gemeinde wegnehmen und sie vor ihm entsühnen sollt.18Siehe, sein Blut ist nicht in das Heilige hineingebracht worden. Ihr solltet das Opfer im Heiligen gegessen haben, wie ich geboten hatte. (Le 6:19; Le 6:22)19Aaron aber sprach zu Mose: Siehe, heute haben sie ihr Sündopfer und ihr Brandopfer vor dem HERRN geopfert, und es ist mir so ergangen, wie du siehst; und ich sollte heute essen vom Sündopfer? Sollte das dem HERRN gefallen?20Als Mose das hörte, ließ er sich’s gefallen.
