1The righteous man perishes, and no one lays it to heart; devout men are taken away, while no one understands. (2Ki 16:4; Isa 1:29; Eze 16:20)6Among the smooth stones of the valley is your portion; they, they, are your lot; to them you have poured out a drink offering, you have brought a grain offering. Shall I relent for these things? (2Ki 23:10)7On a high and lofty mountain you have set your bed, and there you went up to offer sacrifice. (Eze 16:26; Eze 16:28)10You were wearied with the length of your way, but you did not say, “It is hopeless”; you found new life for your strength, and so you were not faint.[3] (Jer 2:25; Jer 18:12)11Whom did you dread and fear, so that you lied, and did not remember me, did not lay it to heart? Have I not held my peace, even for a long time, and you do not fear me? (Ps 50:21; Ps 78:10; Ps 78:36; Isa 51:12)12I will declare your righteousness and your deeds, but they will not profit you.13When you cry out, let your collection of idols deliver you! The wind will carry them all off, a breath will take them away. But he who takes refuge in me shall possess the land and shall inherit my holy mountain. Comfort for the Contrite
14And it shall be said, “Build up, build up, prepare the way, remove every obstruction from my people’s way.” (Isa 40:3; Isa 62:10)15For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite. (Ps 34:18; Ps 113:6; Ps 138:6; Isa 42:3; Mic 6:6; Lu 1:49)16For I will not contend forever, nor will I always be angry; for the spirit would grow faint before me, and the breath of life that I made. (Ge 6:3; Ps 103:9)17Because of the iniquity of his unjust gain I was angry, I struck him; I hid my face and was angry, but he went on backsliding in the way of his own heart. (Isa 56:11; Jer 6:13)18I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort to him and his mourners, (Isa 61:3; Jer 3:22)19creating the fruit of the lips. Peace, peace, to the far and to the near,” says the Lord, “and I will heal him. (Isa 50:4; Isa 57:18; Ac 2:39; Eph 2:17; Heb 13:15)20But the wicked are like the tossing sea; for it cannot be quiet, and its waters toss up mire and dirt. (Jud 1:13)21There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.” (Isa 48:22)
1Der Gerechte ist umgekommen und niemand ist da, der es zu Herzen nimmt, und fromme Leute sind hingerafft und niemand achtet darauf, denn der Gerechte ist weggerafft durch die Bosheit (Mic 7:2)2und geht zum Frieden ein. Es ruhen auf ihren Lagern, die recht gewandelt sind. (2Ki 22:20; Da 12:13)3Ihr aber, tretet herzu, ihr Söhne der Zauberin, ihr Kinder des Ehebrechers und der Hure! (Ho 2:4)4Mit wem wollt ihr euren Spott treiben? Über wen wollt ihr das Maul aufsperren und die Zunge herausstrecken? Seid ihr nicht abtrünnige Kinder, ein verkehrtes Geschlecht, (2Ki 16:3; Jer 2:20; Jer 2:23)5die ihr bei den Götzeneichen in Brunst geratet, unter allen grünen Bäumen, und die Kinder schlachtet in den Tälern unter den Felsklippen?6Bei den glatten Steinen im Tal ist dein Teil, sie sind dein Los. Ihnen hast du dein Trankopfer ausgeschüttet, hast du Speisopfer geopfert. Sollte ich mich darüber nicht empören?7Du machtest dein Lager auf hohem, erhabenem Berg und gingst dort hinauf zu opfern.8Und hinter die Tür und den Pfosten setztest du dein Denkzeichen. Denn du hast dich von mir abgewandt und aufgedeckt dein Lager, es bestiegen und weit gemacht. Du hast dich mit ihnen verbunden, liebtest ihr Lager und buhltest mit ihnen.9Du bist mit Öl zum König gezogen und mit viel köstlicher Salbe und hast deine Boten in die Ferne gesandt und tief hinab bis zum Totenreich.10Du hast dich abgemüht mit der Menge deiner Wege und sprachst nicht: Das lasse ich; sondern du fandest ja noch Leben in deinen Gliedern, so wurdest du dessen nicht müde. (Jer 2:25)11Wen hast du gescheut und gefürchtet, dass du treulos wurdest und nicht an mich dachtest und es nicht zu Herzen nahmst? Meinst du, weil ich allzeit schwieg, brauchtest du mich nicht zu fürchten? (Ps 50:21)12Ich will aber deine Gerechtigkeit kundtun und deine Werke, dass sie dir nichts nütze sind.13Wenn du schreien wirst, soll dir helfen, was du dir angesammelt hast. Aber der Wind wird sie alle wegführen, und ein Hauch wird sie wegnehmen. Doch wer auf mich traut, wird das Land erben und meinen heiligen Berg besitzen. (Ps 37:9)
Gott will seinem Volk Heil geben
14Und er spricht: Machet Bahn, machet Bahn! Bereitet den Weg, räumt die Anstöße aus dem Weg meines Volks! (Isa 40:3; Isa 62:10)15Denn so spricht der Hohe und Erhabene, der ewig wohnt, dessen Name heilig ist: Ich wohne in der Höhe und im Heiligtum und bei denen, die zerschlagenen und demütigen Geistes sind, auf dass ich erquicke den Geist der Gedemütigten und das Herz der Zerschlagenen. (Ps 51:19; Ps 113:5; Isa 66:1)16Denn ich will nicht immerdar hadern und nicht ewiglich zürnen; sonst würde ihr Geist vor mir verschmachten und der Lebensodem, den ich geschaffen habe. (Ps 103:9)17Ich war zornig über die Sünde ihrer Habgier und schlug sie, verbarg mich und zürnte. Aber sie gingen treulos die Wege ihres Herzens.18Ihre Wege habe ich gesehen, aber ich will sie heilen und sie leiten und ihnen wieder Trost geben; und denen, die da Leid tragen, (Ex 15:26)19will ich Frucht der Lippen schaffen. Friede, Friede denen in der Ferne und denen in der Nähe, spricht der HERR; ich will sie heilen. (Ex 15:26; Nu 6:26; Jer 17:14; Lu 2:14; Eph 2:17)20Aber die Gottlosen sind wie das ungestüme Meer, das nicht still sein kann und dessen Wellen Schlamm und Unrat auswerfen. (Jud 1:13)21Die Gottlosen haben keinen Frieden, spricht mein Gott. (Pr 28:1; Isa 48:22)
