1“Sing, O barren one, who did not bear; break forth into singing and cry aloud, you who have not been in labor! For the children of the desolate one will be more than the children of her who is married,” says the Lord. (1Sa 2:5; Isa 62:4; Ga 4:27)2“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. (Ge 8:21; Ge 9:11)10For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you. (Nu 25:12; Eze 34:25; Eze 37:26; Mal 2:5)11“O afflicted one, storm-tossed and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in antimony, and lay your foundations with sapphires.[2] (Isa 51:21; Isa 60:10; Re 21:19)12I will make your pinnacles of agate,[3] your gates of carbuncles,[4] and all your wall of precious stones.13All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children. (Ps 119:165; Isa 9:7; Jer 31:33; Joh 6:45)14In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you.15If anyone stirs up strife, it is not from me; whoever stirs up strife with you shall fall because of you. (Isa 8:9)16Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and produces a weapon for its purpose. I have also created the ravager to destroy;17no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication[5] from me, declares the Lord.” (Isa 45:24)

Spann deine Seile lang und stecke deine Pflöcke fest!3Denn du wirst dich ausbreiten zur Rechten und zur Linken, und deine Nachkommen werden Völker beerben und verwüstete Städte neu bewohnen.4Fürchte dich nicht, denn du sollst nicht zuschanden werden; schäme dich nicht, denn du sollst nicht zum Spott werden, sondern du wirst die Schande deiner Jugend vergessen und der Schmach deiner Witwenschaft nicht mehr gedenken. (Jer 51:5)5Denn der dich gemacht hat, ist dein Mann – HERR Zebaoth heißt sein Name –, und dein Erlöser ist der Heilige Israels, der aller Welt Gott genannt wird.6Denn der HERR hat dich zu sich gerufen wie eine verlassene und von Herzen betrübte Frau; und die Frau der Jugendzeit, wie könnte sie verstoßen bleiben!, spricht dein Gott. (Isa 50:1)7Ich habe dich einen kleinen Augenblick verlassen, aber mit großer Barmherzigkeit will ich dich sammeln. (Ps 30:6)8Ich habe mein Angesicht im Augenblick des Zorns ein wenig vor dir verborgen, aber mit ewiger Gnade will ich mich deiner erbarmen, spricht der HERR, dein Erlöser. (Isa 60:10; La 3:31)9Ich halte es wie zur Zeit Noahs, als ich schwor, dass die Wasser Noahs nicht mehr über die Erde gehen sollten. So habe ich geschworen, dass ich nicht mehr über dich zürnen und dich nicht mehr schelten will. (Ge 9:11)10Denn es sollen wohl Berge weichen und Hügel hinfallen, aber meine Gnade soll nicht von dir weichen, und der Bund meines Friedens soll nicht hinfallen, spricht der HERR, dein Erbarmer. (Eze 37:26)
Zions künftige Herrlichkeit
11Du Elende, über die alle Wetter gehen, die keinen Trost fand! Siehe, ich will deine Mauern auf Edelsteine stellen und will deinen Grund mit Saphiren legen (Re 21:18)12und deine Zinnen aus Kristallen machen und deine Tore von Rubinen und alle deine Grenzen von erlesenen Steinen.13Und alle deine Kinder sind Schüler des HERRN, und großen Frieden haben deine Kinder. (Joh 6:45)14Du sollst auf Gerechtigkeit gegründet sein. Du wirst ferne sein von Bedrückung, denn du brauchst dich nicht zu fürchten, und von Schrecken, denn er soll dir nicht nahen.15Siehe, wenn man kämpft, dann kommt es nicht von mir; wer gegen dich streitet, wird im Kampf gegen dich fallen.16Siehe, ich habe den Schmied geschaffen, der die Kohlen im Feuer anbläst und Waffen macht nach seinem Handwerk; und ich habe auch den Verderber geschaffen, um zu vernichten. (2Sa 24:16)17Keiner Waffe, die gegen dich bereitet wird, soll es gelingen, und jede Zunge, die sich zum Rechtsstreit gegen dich erhebt, sollst du schuldig sprechen. Das ist das Erbteil der Knechte des HERRN, und ihre Gerechtigkeit kommt von mir, spricht der HERR.
