2 For if I cause you pain, who is there to make me glad but the one whom I have pained? (2Co 7:8) 3 And I wrote as I did, so that when I came I might not suffer pain from those who should have made me rejoice, for I felt sure of all of you, that my joy would be the joy of you all. Forgive the Sinner

5 Now if anyone has caused pain, he has caused it not to me, but in some measure—not to put it too severely—to all of you. (1Co 5:1; 2Co 1:14; Ga 4:12) 6 For such a one, this punishment by the majority is enough, (1Co 5:4; 2Co 7:11) 7 so you should rather turn to forgive and comfort him, or he may be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. (Ga 6:1; Eph 4:32) 8 So I beg you to reaffirm your love for him. 9 For this is why I wrote, that I might test you and know whether you are obedient in everything. (2Co 7:15; 2Co 10:6; Php 2:22) 10 Anyone whom you forgive, I also forgive. Indeed, what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, has been for your sake in the presence of Christ, 11 so that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs. Triumph in Christ

12 When I came to Troas to preach the gospel of Christ, even though a door was opened for me in the Lord, (Ac 14:27; Ac 16:8; Ac 20:6) 13 my spirit was not at rest because I did not find my brother Titus there. So I took leave of them and went on to Macedonia. (2Co 7:5) 14 But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. 1 Ich hatte nun dies bei mir beschlossen, dass ich nicht abermals in Traurigkeit zu euch käme. (2Co 12:21) 2 Denn wenn ich euch traurig mache, wer macht mich dann fröhlich? Der, der von mir traurig gemacht wird? 3 Und ebendies habe ich geschrieben, damit ich nicht, wenn ich komme, von denen traurig gemacht werde, über die ich mich freuen sollte. Habe ich doch zu euch allen das Vertrauen, dass meine Freude euer aller Freude ist. 4 Denn ich schrieb euch aus großer Bedrängnis und Angst des Herzens unter vielen Tränen; nicht damit ihr betrübt werdet, sondern damit ihr die Liebe erkennt, die ich habe, besonders zu euch. Vergebung für ein Gemeindeglied

5 Wenn aber jemand Betrübnis angerichtet hat, der hat nicht mich betrübt, sondern zum Teil – damit ich nicht zu viel sage – euch alle. (2Co 7:12) 6 Es ist genug, dass derselbe von den meisten gestraft ist, 7 sodass ihr ihm nun desto mehr vergeben und ihn trösten sollt, auf dass er nicht in allzu große Traurigkeit versinke. 8 Darum ermahne ich euch, dass ihr Liebe an ihm beweist. 9 Denn darum habe ich auch geschrieben, damit ich erkenne, ob ihr rechtschaffen seid, gehorsam in allen Stücken. 10 Wem aber ihr etwas vergebt, dem vergebe ich auch. Denn auch ich habe, wenn ich etwas zu vergeben hatte, es vergeben um euretwillen vor Christi Angesicht, 11 auf dass wir nicht überlistet werden vom Satan; denn uns ist nicht unbekannt, was er im Sinn hat. (1Pe 5:8)

12 Als ich aber nach Troas kam, zu predigen das Evangelium Christi, und mir eine Tür aufgetan war in dem Herrn, (Ac 16:8) 13 da hatte ich keine Ruhe in meinem Geist, weil ich Titus, meinen Bruder, nicht fand; sondern ich nahm Abschied von ihnen und fuhr nach Makedonien. (2Co 7:6) 14 Gott aber sei gedankt, der uns allezeit im Triumph mitführt in Christus und offenbart den Geruch seiner Erkenntnis durch uns an allen Orten! 15 Denn wir sind für Gott ein Wohlgeruch Christi unter denen, die gerettet werden, und unter denen, die verloren werden: (1Co 1:18) 16 diesen ein Geruch des Todes zum Tode, jenen aber ein Geruch des Lebens zum Leben. Und wer ist dazu tüchtig? (2Co 3:5) 17 Wir sind ja nicht wie die vielen, die mit dem Wort Gottes Geschäfte machen; sondern wie man aus Lauterkeit und aus Gott redet, so reden wir vor Gott in Christus.
