1A Song of Ascents. When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream. (Ps 14:7; Ps 120:1; Ac 12:9)2Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” (Job 8:21; Ps 71:19)3The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad.4Restore our fortunes, O Lord, like streams in the Negeb!5Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! (Ezr 6:22; Ne 12:43; Jer 31:9; Hag 2:3; Ga 6:9)6He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.
1Ein Wallfahrtslied. Wenn der HERR die Gefangenen Zions erlösen wird, so werden wir sein wie die Träumenden. (Ps 14:7)2Dann wird unser Mund voll Lachens und unsre Zunge voll Rühmens sein. Da wird man sagen unter den Völkern: Der HERR hat Großes an ihnen getan!3Der HERR hat Großes an uns getan; des sind wir fröhlich.4HERR, bringe zurück unsre Gefangenen, wie du die Bäche wiederbringst im Südland.5Die mit Tränen säen, werden mit Freuden ernten. (Mt 5:4)6Sie gehen hin und weinen und tragen guten Samen und kommen mit Freuden und bringen ihre Garben. (Isa 35:10)

Alors on disait parmi les nations: «L'Eternel a fait de grandes choses pour eux!»3Oui, l'Eternel a fait de grandes choses pour nous, et nous sommes dans la joie.4Eternel, ramène nos déportés comme tu ramènes les ruisseaux dans le Néguev!5Ceux qui sèment avec larmes moissonneront dans la joie,6celui qui marche en pleurant avec un sac de semence reviendra avec joie en portant ses gerbes.
