5 Who is like the LORD our God, who is seated on high, (Ps 35:10) 6 who looks far down on the heavens and the earth? (Ps 11:4; Ps 138:6) 7 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap, (Ps 136:23) 8 to make them sit with princes, with the princes of his people. (Job 36:7) 9 He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the LORD! (Ex 1:21; 1Sa 2:5; Ps 1:1; Ps 68:6; Isa 54:1)

1 Halleluja! Lobet, ihr Knechte des HERRN, lobet den Namen des HERRN! 2 Gelobt sei der Name des HERRN von nun an bis in Ewigkeit! 3 Vom Aufgang der Sonne bis zu ihrem Niedergang sei gelobet der Name des HERRN! (Ps 50:1) 4 Der HERR ist hoch über alle Völker; seine Herrlichkeit reicht, so weit der Himmel ist. 5 Wer ist wie der HERR, unser Gott, der oben thront in der Höhe, 6 der niederschaut in die Tiefe, auf Himmel und Erde; 7 der den Geringen aufrichtet aus dem Staube und erhöht den Armen aus dem Schmutz, (Ge 41:40; 1Sa 2:8; Lu 1:48) 8 dass er ihn setze neben die Fürsten, neben die Fürsten seines Volkes; 9 der die Unfruchtbare im Hause wohnen lässt, dass sie eine fröhliche Kindermutter wird. Halleluja! (Ge 21:2; 1Sa 1:20; Lu 1:57)

1 Alleluia. Lodate, o servi del Signore, lodate il nome del Signore. 2 Sia benedetto il nome del Signore, ora e sempre! 3 Dal sol levante fino al ponente sia lodato il nome del Signore. 4 Il Signore è superiore a tutte le nazioni e la sua gloria è al di sopra dei cieli. 5 Chi è simile al Signore, al nostro Dio, che siede sul trono in alto, 6 che si abbassa a guardare nei cieli e sulla terra? 7 Egli rialza il misero dalla polvere e solleva il povero dal letame, 8 per farlo sedere con i prìncipi, con i prìncipi del suo popolo. 9 Fa abitare la sterile in famiglia, quale madre felice tra i suoi figli. Alleluia.
